Easy On Me’s 10.7m for the week is out of reach, but Shape of You’s 9.3m should be beaten for the second highest non-Christmas week ever.

What’s the longest streak for songs being above 1 million?

Shape of You had 2 and a half consecutive weeks, probably that.

Good 4 u had two weeks.

Good 4 u did much better in both peak and overall:

2021 Spotify YE:

  1. Olivia Rodrigo - good 4 u - 95.3m

  2. Olivia Rodrigo - drivers license - 83.7m

Despite drivers license being released in the second week of the year and good 4 u in May.

And yet it's flipped around globally so far this year, ~270 million Spotify streams in 2025 for "drivers license", ~180 million for "good 4 u".

Good 4 U was the song that converted non-fans to Olivia, not surprised it was the bigger performer overall.

"Ordinary" continues to stretch its lead with the only question now being how high it will rank compared to the other highest year end totals. "Messy" should finally surpass "That's So True" in the next couple of weeks, many months after it surpassed it on the OCC list.

"back to friends" is the higher of the two sombr songs on this list at #12, with both doing much better than the OCC list. The two old Coldplay favourites and "Nice to Each Other" are also performing a lot better on Spotify. On the other hand, "Golden" is slightly lagging behind its OCC position at only #36. Other hits underperforming on Spotify are "Dior" (#62) and "Blessings" (#87).

As with the OCC list, "Iris" should dethrone "Mr. Brightside" as top oldie here, however, it may take a couple more weeks. "Dreams" is also on for a record year, as well as "Naive" sneaking into the top 50 for the first time.

The White Noise track, now combining totals from both the Loopable and the Loopable No Fade versions would be #19 if I placed it properly (or #27 counting only the Loopable version's streams).

Top 3 highest non-OCC list songs are "Feel Good Inc." (#58), "Teenage Dirtbag (#68) and "505" (#69). The only 2025 hit not on the OCC YTD currently in the top 100 are "Just Keep Watching" (#95) and "Juno" (#97), although the latter will drop out next week. "Burning Down" and "Tell Me" both fail to make the top 200 here despite being in the top 100 on the OCC list.

Any questions, as always, please ask.

New albums always increase from Sunday to Monday (and Sunday is the lowest day of the week for everyone).

But surely staying steady from such a huge peak is impressive?

They had 2+ weeks of doing over 1m on UK Spotify?? WHAAAT!? That's insane! Wow. o

It is insane looking back due to the dips and troughs of streaming and how low it’s been (especially this year).

Shaoe of you was when streaming was starting to boom and not quite as even over the platforms but still crazy looking back
