How many variants for Talor?

Also how many copies is she selling signed? Do we believe superstars actually sign?

  • Imagine the sales Taylor could have had if she'd released an actually good album...!

That information isn't released publicly!

Will Sabrina get back into the top 3 albums? Thought she'd be streamed more after being featured on the biggest album of the year

I would love to see that number. Her physical sales would be lower but not by a huge margin

ne 01 Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl (303,862) [257,575 physicals, 8,363 downloads, 37,924 streaming]

For comparison, the Monday mids last time:

1 Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (197,158) [153,657 physicals, 33,760 streaming, 9,741 downloads]*

Looks like Taylor's streaming sales this time will be higher than the 78,907 she ended the week on back then, and therefore will probably break the record of 78,944 for '÷'.

Incidentally, the total sales of '÷' were 671,542 that week - Taylor won't beat that, but has already beaten the 303,520 of its second week - the first album since to do so.

If I was to buy her album, I’d only buy one copy and not spend over £100 for every variant because I’m not a saddo

There's really no need for this rudeness? I wouldn't buy multiple variants either but I definitely wouldn't be calling anyone a saddo for doing so, people have different passions, what's yours?

Is this True?

Yeah it was all given in the update earlier 😅

Being the only person left in the world to give a damn about the compilation chart each week.

The age old debate of variants etc…

Who cares? Honestly? lol People will buy what they want to buy. Nobody has an issue when anyone else does variants (and doesn’t have an issue when their fans buy more than one copy)

I bought every variant of JADE as I wanted to help her as much as possible, especially for her debut. But I don’t typically variant collect otherwise, but it’s not an issue if people do decide they want every version of an album or whether they want just the one copy. So calling people “a saddo” just coz they decide they want to is uncalled for and unnecessary.

(P.s. I’ve bought the Orange vinyl and 1 x Deluxe CD (with a keychain) for Taylor - I don’t plan to buy anymore but I have got my eye on one of the vinyl variants if they come back in stock - by which point I’ll just sell the orange one…)

I believe Dave has an album out this month. It's been 4 years since the last one and UK rap has fallen off though so yeah no guarantees it will knock Taylor off the top.

I'm confident Dave will knock Taylor off #1 on albums, it'll be her week 4 by that point so even if Dave does ~50k which would be a significant drop from his last album (74k) he'll still most likely be #1 by a decent margin (TTPD did just under 30k week 4, even the infamous week where she released more formats and blocked BRAT was 36k). On the singles it'll be a much tougher battle for him though for sure, might end up keeping his streak of only ever hitting #1 with non-album singles.

Did he have a preorder for the last album though?

No idea, he has a preorder for this one at least.

A pretty short one, which may affect his sales overall. Hard to tell!

His last album was announced 17 days before release so an even shorter rollout than this one (23 days from announcement to release)!
