Born in 1999 in Enfield and raised in Walthamstow, Dean participated in gospel choir at a young age, before busking in the streets and eventually attending the famous BRIT School. Influenced by Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse and Carole King, Dean’s own take on music is autobiographical and vulnerable. In 2019, she released her debut EP, Ok Love You Bye, which delved into the challenging aspects of dating, like on the meditative “Password Change”. The following year, Dean dropped her follow-up EP, What Am I Gonna Do On Sundays?, a concise but evocative set of songs brimming with celestial melodies and confessional lyrics. Dean’s signature introspective style continues to grow more intimate, as evinced by the delicate 2021 EP Growth, highlighted by the soul-baring single “Be My Own Boyfriend”. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2021 19 The Christmas Song -NAS-2025 36 It Isn't Perfect But It Might Be -OST-2025 17 Dive -1-2025 04 Nice To Each Other -1-2025 06 Rein Me In (Sam Fender & Olivia Dean)2025 38 Lady Lady -IG-2025 01 Man I Need -2-2025 06 So Easy (To Fall In Love) -3-1 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 6 x Top 20 | 8 x Top 40 | 8 x Top 100Social Media Olivia Dean
Yesterday at 16:371 day Author 01 | 01 | 3rd weekTaylor SwiftThe Fate Of Ophelia1st single from The Life of a ShowgirlReleased: 3rd October 2025Label: Taylor SwiftChart StatisticsNE (16/10/2025) | 1-1-1Sales: 200,000+Certification: SilverStatus: Standard Chart Ratio01 Sales01 Audio Streaming01 Video StreamingVideoBiographyThe country world feigned surprise when, after three albums of Music Row-indebted songcraft, Taylor Swift formally embraced pop on 2012’s Red. But no one should have been shocked: Any 14-year-old capable of persuading her parents to move from suburban Pennsylvania to Nashville for her career clearly has ambition to burn. And the thrill of following Swift’s rise has been watching her execute it flawlessly, largely because her melodic intelligence is equal to that ambition. Her early, youthful love songs heralded 2010's newly self-possessed Speak Now—which showed off her scathing wit—and evolved into knowing, ironclad pop fare that held its own against boisterous Max Martin production on 1989, her fifth album, titled after her birth year. Throughout, her songwriting has blurred the lines between the public and private, burying enough real-life clues (about, say, scarves and Starbucks) to make clear that only Swift can own her narrative, thank you very much, while still retaining a lyrical elegance. Though 2017’s reputation might have been perceived as a gorgeously constructed piece of dramatic theater—its attendant heroes and villains all real-life characters from Swift's public feuds—all that spectacle proved an attention-grabbing cover for her most romantic album yet. She turned up the romance even more on 2019’s Lover, but it was 2020’s folklore and its companion, evermore—ruminative, relatively lo-fi albums written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic—that earned her the Apple Music Award for Songwriter of the Year. She followed those up in 2022 with Midnights, which she wrote and produced with Jack Antonoff, and described as "the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life." In 2023, Swift undertook one of the most ambitious road shows of all time: the multi-year Eras Tour, which saw her presenting new and classic material across more than 100 locales worldwide. It was just one of many reasons she was named Apple Music's Artist of the Year for 2023. Swift returned to the soft, comfortable, bed-like sonics of Midnights for her 11th album, 2024’s THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. A study in extremes and heightened emotions, the record—which features guest turns from Post Malone and Florence + the Machine—is her most specific, candid, and unsparing work to date. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2009 02 Love Story -1- MILLIONAIRE2009 60 White Horse -AT-2009 51 Teardrops On My Guitar -2-2009 100 Crazier -OST-2009 30 You Belong With Me -3- MILLIONAIRE2010 57 Today Was A Fairytale -OST-2010 30 Mine -1-2012 67 Safe & Sound (feat. Yesterday at 16:401 day Author Future chart hit? DaveTracks from The Boy Who Played The HarpReleased: 24th October 2025Label: Dave / Neighbourhood RecordingsStreamBiographyChallenging power and perception with a free-spoken approach to rap, Dave has indelibly amplified hip-hop’s voice in Britain. Born David Orobosa Omoregie in Brixton in 1998, Dave suddenly implanted himself in the UK rap scene in 2016, first with the electric grime alliance “Thiago Silva” with AJ Tracey and then when Drake jumped on the remix of the velvety “Wanna Know” from Dave’s first EP, Six Paths. Rebuffing label advances to pursue his career independently, he demonstrated a self-reliant streak on releases such as his 2017 EP Game Over, whose “Question Time”, a scathing attack on Theresa May’s government, garnered him an Ivor Novello songwriting award. Dave’s full-length debut, the Mercury Prize winner Psychodrama, followed in 2019; epitomising his achingly honest rap style, it laid bare personal vulnerabilities while challenging institutional racism in a provocative fashion rarely heard in British rap. The centrepiece of the lavishly soundscaped album was “Black”, a heart-wrenching portrait of the prejudice affronting Black lives. At the 2020 BRIT Awards, where Psychodrama won Album of the Year, Dave started his performance of “Black” by accompanying himself on piano and ended it by excoriating Boris Johnson as a “real racist” and executing a perfect mic drop. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2017 51 Wanna Know (feat. Yesterday at 16:401 day Author Future chart hit? Lewis CapaldiAlmostInstant grat from SurviveReleased: 24th October 2025Label: Vertigo BerlinVideoBiographyLewis Capaldi’s first two albums—2019’s Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent and 2023’s Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent—broadcast their messy emotional content right there in those sprawling titles. “I think we all attempt to be heavenly sent,” the former Up Next artist told Apple Music in 2023, explaining the latter title. “Everyone strives to be good at something, or find some sort of purpose. And sometimes, in the pursuit of that, it can leave you feeling a bit dejected.” And make no mistake: Capaldi has become one of the most popular young artists of his generation by preserving his songs in a raw, unvarnished state, providing the purest representation of the pain and longing coursing through his lyrics. Amidst the hyper-paced, totally wired world of late-2010s pop, this unassuming Scottish singer-songwriter—born in 1996 in Glasgow—stopped the internet dead in its tracks with his DIY 2017 single “Bruises,” a stark, piano-based breakup ballad that introduced a voice imbued with the sort of soulful grit and deeply felt heartache you wouldn’t expect from a baby-faced 21-year-old. That song was Capaldi’s ticket to major-label deals and tours opening for pop A-listers like Sam Smith and Niall Horan, but he would swiftly join their ranks with Divinely Uninspired…, which fleshed out his sound with lush orchestration and gospel gravitas but retained his fearless flair for emotional dredging. Capaldi proved no less forthcoming on Broken By Desire…, counterbalancing all his success with self-deprecating lyrical turns. Though he took a break from touring after releasing the album in order to improve his mental and physical health, that decisive step felt just as real and necessary as the doubt and passion he airs in his songs. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2018 09 Grace -2- MILLIONAIRE2018 01 Someone You Loved -3- MILLIONAIRE2019 06 Bruises -1/5- MILLIONAIRE2019 04 Hold Me While You Wait -4- MILLIONAIRE2019 01 Before You Go -6- MILLIONAIRE2022 01 Forget Me -1- MILLIONAIRE2022 01 Pointless -2-2023 24 How I'm Feeling Now -PS-2023 01 Wish You The Best -3-2023 28 Haven't You Ever Been In Love Before? -AT-2024 37 Strangers -4-2024 59 A Cure For Minds Unwell -AT-2025 01 Survive -1-2025 03 Something In The Heavens -2-2025 xx Almost -IG-6 x #1 | 8 x Top 5 | 10 x Top 10 | 10 x Top 20 | 13 x Top 40 | 14 x Top 100Social Media Lewis Capaldi

Yesterday at 17:111 day Highest position for Mr Brightside (#51) since January - wonder if it can sneak a week in top 40 before the seasonal invasion..
Yesterday at 17:341 day Tuned in for most of the chart show today - this was the first time I've heard both of the other HUNTR/X songs, I like both of them more than 'Golden' but 'Your Idol' remains the only song from the soundtrack that I would ever listen to voluntarily (pending if I ever bother listening to 'Free'). Tbf I enjoyed the verses of 'How It's Done' but then the chorus just sounds like a bad BLACKPINK song and kills the momentum (I thought that about 'TAKEDOWN' as well).Didn't tune in in time for Joji or Tame Impala's second entry and not heard either of them in full yet but happy both held on from the mids (and the second highest peak to date for the former)! 'Talk To You' I also like more than most of Sam Fender's other recent hits, Elton's influence I fear. Not super thrilled at 'People Watching' being reset but it's only the substantially more stale 'Lose Control' that it kept out so could be worse, just hope it's only a brief return to the top 40.Great to see the big rise for 'Dracula', also think 'Phantom' is a bit of a banger (and another Halloween adjacent song title, at least out of context x). Enjoying the Olivia Dean and Kehlani songs hitting new peaks this week too. SIENNA SPIRO not so much but I think it is growing on me a bit on second listen, the chorus melody is a little reminiscent of 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'.Interesting to see Karan Aujla actually getting a credit on 'Symmetry' on the OCC website.
