  • Wham! should join this list next year - currently on 92 weeks (half of them with the one song). Sabrina Carpenter might get there first - currently on 87. Will have a think who else is close to joinin

Just seen The Weeknd is on 99! So I guess he'll be the next to join.

Edit: actually his OCC page doesn't include 'Rather Lie', so he should be on 100 weeks already! (This appears to be an error within the OCC database, as it is credited to "PLAYBOI CARTI/WEEKND", but clicking on that brings you through to the "PLAYBOI CARTI" page rather than their combined page.)

Edit 2: there's also 'Hurricane' where he isn't credited at all by the OCC, but I suppose that's a different matter.

Some 50s artists who have been missed off:

Lonnie Donegan, 111 weeks

Perry Como, 102 weeks

I'm surprised that Drake is still behind Calvin Harris & Justin Bieber but then I guess a lot of his were 1 or 2 weeks top 10s. Although by quantity he must vastly outnumber both of them.

Drake: 47

Calvin Harris: 31

Justin Bieber: 28

Wings - 52

Paul McCartney - 69

Paul McCartney and Wings - 10

Combined total of 124 weeks.

(and 194 weeks for The Beatles gives 318 weeks!)

Thanks - amended OP - Wings are Paul McCartney solo IMO.

Also just combined George Michael and Wham to be controversial!

As a Wham! fan, I find this very controversial! But I’m not going to complain.
