I am mostly just joking about feeling shame. At the end of the day, it is a song contest, not an artist contest, so if the most eligible song for BJSC that I love most at that time is by a recycled artist, then that's what I'll send.

Chuckling at quite HOW long that list ended up becoming though.

I've really enjoyed seeing the responses to the thread so far, and I'm surprised I never thought to compile a list sooner, but I too don't feel shame, I feel like I'm just carrying the baton on to the next person who may choose to recycle the same artist someday!

always gives me a great sense of pride when someone recycles one of my artists, it happens rarely but sometimes you see it

Artists, and good, talented artists especially, can't be summed up with one song either; I try to find original artists but lately I've not been worrying too much about that especially if it's something very different from what they've been sent with in the past and/or if they got a lesser result than they deserved the first time

but I am not currently feeling up to searching my full entrant history and cross-referencing with who entered them before I did - if I did so at any point in the past, you are also to be complemented for entering someone good x
