Wham don't really "campaign" on 1st of Nov though. But like I said above, it would be refreshing if something else was the biggest Christmas song this year.

Harder drop than I expected for the Halloween songs - still quietly confident “Thriller” could get a new peak.

I know this is a really redundant comment to make because it happens every year, but it never fails to baffle me 160,000 people think they want to play Christmas music as soon as November 1st hits. It genuinely didn't even cross my mind yesterday that we'd even exited Halloween yet.

That’s irrelevant to the fact that their numbers this year are worse than last year as the lack of campaigning applies on both years and the performance of the other songs is static y-o-y or better in Ariana’s case
