Sorry, it’s really hard (in spite of my comment in the earlier pages) to not see like 80% of the songs get hype and not let that slip into your consciousness, and think the other 20% will suffer. But I’m sure it’ll do better than last, I’m just aware that it being such a short pop song won’t work in its favour towards the win in this contest.

Fair enough I haven’t heard any feedback on it either to be fair so that’s reasonable. Agreed it’s probably not a likely winner, but here to start the #underdoghypetrain for FAANGS. 😂

I don't know if I'm being dense or just really off-course, but I for most of the contest have thought Cheiron are gonna win. If not them, I definitely didn't think Summericia would be near the bottom of the table, I just have a feeling regardless of it being AI that it should still do well - it's a stunning song. (I'm anti-AI but in this instance it's not going to encourage more creation of AI songs, encourage more to be sought and sent etc. so may as well as enjoy it for what it is?)

Omg I think this may be my first win prediction ever (regardless of how off-course it is lol).

Also gestures at Rich's odds they're not THAT dissimilar to mine, so if I'm a flop at this, then we're both going down.

Our only noticeable difference, to my eyes, is that you think I'll do well (I did previously think I'd come top 10, but have shifted this belief to hoping for top 20) and I am quietly confident Greenfroze may well quietly sneak their way to another dark horse top 10/15.

I think there is an element of me copying the homework a bit of whoever goes first 🤣 Like 'oh if they think it will do well then maybe it will'.

I think I'll be wrong this month, it's too wide open to call. So yeah, we're going down (but with the caveat that POPHub would actually make a very credible and inspired winner so I'm happy to go down with that ship).

POPHub for pop song that potentially hits the jackpot for alt votes, Mothertopia for the more traditional pop rally, Kathaldazia I feel will win the electronic vote and Elëdan has a lot of reasons to draw people to giving it high points, I'd call it getting most 18s anyway.

Top 10 contenders (or underpriced hits)

Aeroche

Terra Avium

FSR Rontvia

Aelandor

République d’Áskorza

Skall

Hushkanukia I see as possibly the second-most contender-like pop hit, but Bøtanikkä's not far behind, Aeroche can never be counted out and I think this might hit for them, Bambie Thug was huge with Tsunami and is always exciting, Rontvia seem to have, as always, got one of the most intriguing entries in the contest, Aelandor's got a strong entry too, I think that could get a wide-range of points. Askorza and Skall seem potentially quite strong contenders too.

For those I haven't listed, I love to see the hype for Greenfroze and if more people than just me are on it that'd be incredible but I'm not certain there. FARC and Hendinia could well but I equally see them falling behind some of the other strong pop contenders and don't really see a world where either is THE ONE. A-Konohagakure's genre certainly does well when it's entered but I don't feel this one has the sauce to go all the way, doesn't quite grab you the way Storm did.

Also, I have an affinity for pop songs. Always have, but I'm not a huge fan of POPHub or Mothertopia this time. I'm loving Hendinia's entry, though, but I never said I was perfect.

POPHub Predicts the Top 10

A-Konohagakure • Crossover, majestic, unique. Will collect votes from all blocs I imagine. Very in its own lane and cinematic.

Aeroche • Fun, memorable, stand-out. Bound to sweep the Dance bloc’s votes and pick up casual votes from most other blocs.

Cheiron • Chic, dark, synth-heaven. Should be an absolute smash with the Alt bloc. Also short enough to capture the attention of some Pop voters I would guess.

Elëdan • Autobiographical, haunting, moody. This is my wild card prediction. It feels huge, and I could see it sneaking in.

FARC • Bold, ear-worm, melodic. A very classic pop song here. Very well-written and easily palatable to virtually everyone.

Flynnonda • Insistent, raw, tongue-in-cheek. There’s not much else like it in the contest. Alt bloc fodder. Should at least pick up mealworm points from other blocs.

FSR Rontvia • Catchy, cultural, unrelenting. Sounds eerily like it could be a Eurovision winner. I expect big things from this one.

Kathaldazia • Classic, energy, Europop-perfection. Seems to me like Buzzjack Song Contest fodder that will appeal to the masses (me, I’m masses).

Mothertopia • Digestible, sleek, throwback. I imagine this will hoover up the Pop bloc’s votes. Addison Rae found crying, screaming and throwing up.

POPHub • Iconic, legendary, winner. All jokes aside, I was hesitant to put this solidly in the Top 10. I think it’s Pop-appeal may be being overhyped. My guess is that it will be a darling to the Alt-voters, but will only grab the attention of a few select Pop nations. That being said, I was convinced this would claim somewhere like 31st-33rd prior to its wonderful reception, so I am already very happy with how it’s done.

Other notable Top 10 contenders: Bøtanikkä, Greenfroze, Hendinia, Land of DW, Terra Avium, Zanmatony

Any of the aforementioned countries could also find themselves towards the very top, it all depends which way the pendulum swings. (Speaking of, I hope Dobago exceed expectations with their anniversary entry).

Not sure where these good predictions are coming from, I haven't seen much hype for my entry!

Personally I think the pop bloc BROUGHT IT this month. I have absolutely no idea which ones are gonna be contending for the crown, I'm getting such strong winner vibes from multiple songs. I agree with many of the mentions in this thread, while I disagree strongly with others. No idea where I fit in this either, hopefully in the top half of the results but I can never really tell how this crowd will take to my songs lmao.

If I had to put my money on any song I think I'd wager that FARC could take the crown tomorrow.
