A top 5 will still be good. She honestly needed like 20 different downloads for massive multi buying. Personally she should of just dropped these on her website Wham! has over 30 versions you can download and the first year it was close fans were downloading all 33+ Hopefully first look number 1 is still possible and they'll drop a fair few new mixes to download. Let's be honest the general public pay no attention to how many versions there are (A Christmas number 1 is a Christmas number 1)

Still 6 on the unlimited chart so even though she’s fallen to 9 on the main one there’s really can’t be much in it between 7-9.

She did 22k last week so the streaming this week has to be at least 30k given that she is around 6-9 on Amazon (last week mid teens). Wham did 42k last week so there is a gap of around 12k. Her physicals must be 5k? So 7k downloads needed but you tube video views will count too. It will be very close.

I think wham will be more 45-50k this week, it’ll be going up every week.

66k views in 12 hours worldwide isn't great to be honest

maybe 10% of those UK so thats approx 6.6k = 11 sales

not sure why they decided to hide away a video premiere at 8.15pm on a Friday evening.......

Should have stuck it on Lorraine in the morning and let it get some media attention and streaming all day long

Lets hope it picks up a bit and gets featured on some British media

Wham will increase too by lots and also their fans can also download a zillion versions too if needed.

I don't think there is much and i have little faith in that chart anyway. Like i said Olivia Dean went from 14 to 1 in an hour last weekend lol

The only way is LOADS of download versions for 59p on her website. Even gimmick acts that have had 35+ versions have managed top 10 due to the sheer force of direct sales.

She should release 6 more versions Sunday/Monday and then extra if needed, it's crazy to me why they don't just go all out because it's Kylie's only chance of a number 1 ever again if Padam couldn't do it then nothing else will.

Well i guess they could have thought Amazon Alexa was going to do it for them.

Btw isnt it just easier for Kylie fans etc and more affective just to ask Alexa to play Kylie XMAS instead of Christmas Music like passive streams will do?

Wham feels like an impossibility to overcome tbh, they have physicals, are on EVERY Christmas playlist, Andrew done a signing event yesterday.

If she is First Look #1 it’ll get the Wham fans into action - there are many fan groups pushing for it to be #1

Yep this is correct. Its not only Kylie fans haha. Sometimes her website does very well hiding sales they have from phyiscals and downloads........ they know exactly how many sales they are generating from the website and can control it.

I am sure the video will come on to be downloaded for 79p but they want streams from Youtube to count towards sales otherwise people just watch their downloaded video and track and forget to stream...... especially Kylie fans lol

I don't think the signing event would have sold many because the vinyl was released on the 5th so I assume they all counted last week? Which only 250ish sold. They can't sell vinyl's to be signed so I guess it's what fans already had?

It’s visibility etc., rather than sales for the signing event.

Anyway, I’ve bought 10 versions of XMAS and am streaming heavily - just going to enjoy Kylie getting another Top 10 and pushing her as high as possible rather than stressing over a #1, would love to see it but the last time Wham had a challenge they filled the Top 20 iTunes chart with versions.

Would love to be proved wrong of course but even if they drop mixes I now don’t think it’s Kylie’s year.

I mean its still not on Amazon's Trending Today playlist lol. which is laughable.

I don't think it's that big of a deal for Wham! fans this time they have been number 1 for 2 years in a row, they are number 1 this week. The groups I'm in it seems very muted and no increases on iTunes or physicals on Amazon etc...

I think that just shows Kylie doesn't have any streaming power for people to actively be searching it. I'm hoping there's a chance after her strictly performance though

You know no matter what happens one thing is totally assured, Kylie, at 57, is about to score her 2nd Top 10 hit in two years. That as a fan is enough for me, enjoy the ride folks!

35k is needed for number 2 which she will achieve with ease. Like I said streaming at a minimum will be 30k.

We will have to see how close it is. Will Amazon ramp up more streams as the week goes on and what remixes/extended versions appear etc. Number 1 is certainly in reach.

It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be the same push from Amazon as there was for Sam. However Kylie is pretty much guaranteed to be top 10 and very likely top 5 for the first time since 2010. Let's enjoy whatever happens. ❤️
