I'd love to be optimistic, perhaps Kylie can buck the trend, it would be amazing if she did! Unrealistic expectations don't help, though - if she could even go top 40 next year I'd be impressed. For now, I'll celebrate her being well on her way to a brand new #1, because that's far more pressing than worrying about next year.

To be Honest, I dont know. Amazon does have have a big foothold here and active streaming services and the earlier stuff I purchased and keep get reverted back to here was on Amazon, at least 2 were anyhow. But Christmas songs rarely are mentioned over here

You're literally doing the opposite of this at the moment lol so by definition you're having unrealistic expectations based on past evidence. Yes something can be unrealistic on paper but actually end up happening, but it's incredibly unlikely. Other streaming services are a bit cool towards previous Amazon exclusives and Amazon themselves take their foot off the gas for old exclusives. So it would have to be a very major bucking of the trend for Kylie to go Top 10 again next year, when the best anyone else has managed is #52.

Fantastic achievement if she gets it but it doesn't suddenly make her a huge Christmas star, the fact fully wrapped is looking at a big drop in week 2 even suggests that 😅

Just downloaded the Extended version on her official store, so I've now done one of each from there. I'd already bought the Extended on Amazon previously but thought I'd like to have the FLAC/WAV versions for that too. 6 downloads overall plus a CD and 7" vinyl = 8 sales from me!

Just grabbed 2 more downloads - what will be will be now!

I just downloaded 5 songs from her website and 2 from amazon plus the 3 physicals earlier this week, hope that helps 🤞

Does anybody know how it is performing on the Global Amazon chart, or in the US, Canada, Germany etc

It’s interesting Gwen Stefani’s Amazon song has charted in the US this year. So Alexa does have some impact over there, but it’s unsurprising they’re pushing Gwen more than Kylie there.

It will sell more next week! But for next YEAR that is pretty much what will happen as other streaming services will never support former Amazon exclusives.

And not surprised this didn't chart in Australia. Amazon has the strongest market share in the UK and the focus exclusive varies by country.

I have no expectations, it's already exceeded them. However I think. AMAZON and other streaming platforms + fans will continue to support.

If everything was just all trends and nothing changed life would be very full. A lot of you are just dismissive

I'm pretty sure everyone said Wham will never get to number one in 2024 with a song from 1980s but it happened.

I think it may be an indicator of how it may chart or not here in Ireland later today. I am disappointed though that it didn't chart in Australia, looks like we are looking to the UK and it going number 1 to make up for other disappointments.
