After seeing Kylie’s instagram alongside piles and piles of vinyl (assuming purple) then I hope they add loads to the numbers already sold via her store/ Amazon and HMV.

It’s hard to know how popular this release actually will be but the vinyl sales should be very good if nothing else.

30-40k would be excellent. Streaming could be 2000 plus too.

  • All my copies of the album from multiple places have now arrived - I’ve ended up with 15 in total for the album and 6 physicals for the single ordered.

If it happens, I might go and quote a post where any of us have said "shame Slow was her last ever #1" and be like...

I forgot Sam Fender was releasing the deluxe that could go either way but streaming alone will be decent. I fear she may end up at 2.

Sam won’t come close - he’s ‘only’ got 3 variants (2 x Vinyl and CD), the vinyl is around £40 too for the standard version, streaming will be strong but as it’s a deluxe it dosent have the same pull power.

Definitely won’t now! More signed bundles just added :)

Wait is Kylie Christmas actually in the running for the top spot?

It didn't even occur to me that it would be getting a major chart boost. If it reaches the top ten, it would leave Let's Get To It as Kylie's only album to miss the top ten. 35th anniversary vinyl push next year to get it into the top ten?

I genuinely think its in with a great shout of number 1 and yes it will leave lets get to it as her only studio album not to have gone top 10 and id be all for something been done to help lets get to it follow all her other studio albums having a top 10 peak but its very very unlikely.

LGTI will have no chance if it’s just a vinyl…Kylie 88 did ok for a vinyl only repress in 2 colours but don’t recall it anywhere close to top ten….they already gave the PWL Albums a push in 2015 with the gorgeous Cherry Red reissues. I know it was very different market conditions but don’t think there’s anywhere near enough demand to go top ten. IP had 4 Vinyls and a whole load extra goodwill…but maybe with a cassette bundle they could do it plus the imagery is great from 1991/2. I doubt Kylie/ PWL cares though.

Well Monday midweeks will be interesting….Amazon showing about 2500+ sales in the last month (assuming that includes everything, don’t think they’d miss out presales made over a month ago) and hopefully 1000 plus CD via HMV. Though they had loads of the ‘exclusive CD’ instore but ‘signed version’ is sold out online.

So thinking about it maybe I’m getting way too carried away with 30k, 20k plus maybe more likely.

(Edit Amazon Green CD now saying 2000 sales so that’s at least 3500 total)

I'm confident she's going to be number 1 and the icing on the cake would be Christmas week goes crazy and she manages a Christmas number 1 too!

Its hard to call just yet what the sales will be like but im thinking the worst results is 20k and it it is 20k the number 1 could be touch and go as Olivia Dean is back to number 1 this week on 20,588 but all going well Kylie can do it and hopefully the album can hold up decent enough for the remainder of the christmas period.

My prediction for XMAS next week is 29,000 sales and #5

#manifesting

I'm thinking low top 10 now, too many other new kylie songs beginnig to take the limelight and lets face it, Wham are a juggernaut this time of year.

From Sayhey, the first midweek is reporting 12,000 sales, new at 1.

Let’s hope many pre sales haven’t been reported yet!

The other three new Kylie Christmas songs won’t affect how XMAS does.

Seems like a decent start! Last Monday’s midweek #1 was 7,253 so almost 12k on Saturday is good (and at least we know at this point that she’s outdoing Sam Fender’s pure sales).

I'd say there is a good chance that, that doesn't include all pre sales.

Your so dedicated and fair play, I'm sure it's made a fair dent in your wallet though.
