Good to see Robyn on the playlist, it's been 7 years since she was on as lead artist!

I'm actually liking Tate's new one a lot more than 'Tit For Tat' so happy to see that insta-A-listed.

Annoyingly they seem to have stopped listing the TOTW on the website so if anyone hears what it is please let me know so I can edit it in.

It got disqualified from the official chart for a very good reason, it'd have been silly for them to keep it on. It's ridiculous they even added it in the first place last week.

Isn't it obvious, it makes more sense to have a song on playlist that they legally cannot play over a song potentially challenging for number 1🤭

I see ROSALÍA's 'tracks of' treatment has now been replaced with 'La Perla'. It's an interesting one, as I'd say on paper 'La Perla' is more commercial, but 'Berghain' has been her actual top 40 hit! However, I'm happy to see her on there in any form, of course.

In fairness Radio 1 did continue to play Drake's 'Blue Green Red' for a few weeks after that got removed from streaming services...! (But yeah obviously not surprising that 'I Run' has been booted not least after they apparently weren't even playing it last week).

Looks like I was right that Radio 1 just didn't want to playlist 'Berghain' and were waiting for a more radio friendly song to emerge from the album. 'La Perla' is currently by far my least favourite song / the only one I didn't really care for on first impressions from 'LUX' oops so hoping it will grow on me, I'm being a flop fan and only listened to the album once so far xx

Yay for SIENNA SPIRO, Fred again.. and Wet Leg moving up and nice to see Robyn still getting support 30 years into her career, I heard 'Dopamine' on R1 the other day and it's pretty good!

Do we now know the full story re the Haven track because I am still a bit confused about it.

Is it purely that Jorja Smith's people are trying to say they've deliberately copied her voice using AI, which is surely unprovable?

Or did she previously record a demo of the song or something?

I don't think anyone really knows at this stage - or at least if they do I'm not aware! I'm very interested to know though, especially when there's a video of "Haven" saying that they're trying to resolve the issues and get the track back up.
