It probably won't get reset but we know OCC have been fast and loose with their own rules this year, I'd be surprised if the other 2 did enough to dent the chart this week anyway 😪

On The Beach probably hasn’t done enough but Road To Hell most likely has but because of Christmas, people listening to his music will most likely be focusing on Driving Home For Christmas

Reminder that Friday's chart show will be the EOY top 100 of 2025, starting at 2pm, and join us here on BuzzJack for the countdown as well as the pre-show from 1pm. There's no First Look next Sunday.

The Pogues never got reset when Shane passed away so I'd say it's been established what the rules are here

Chris' non-Xmas songs won't be anywhere near the chart regardless

I don’t think Driving Home For Christmas would get reset as it’s a Christmas song and goes against their rules of not resetting old Christmas songs. I’d like Road To Hell or On The Beach to get reset

The road to hell wouldn’t be awfully fitting

It's all of the above 🤣🤣 i only know it's known as three kings day because I was in Spain once and it's as big there as the 25th December 🤣🤣

Surge for Driving home for christmas since Chris Rea just died? 😢

damn that’s really sad 💔 r.i.p. to a f***ing legend.

I wonder if Chris Rea's "The Christmas Album" might chart. Would be fitting, as it was his final release in November.

Los tres reyes magos

‘Last Christmas’ was streamed more yesterday than on the same date*, 23rd December last year (both weekdays, so comparable)! It will be fascinating to see its weekly sales and streams this week.

And Chris Rea on almost a million streams*, so yes, I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes a new peak.

*on Spotify.

And 743k ahead of MC on Spotify Global

That’s a huge lead

But now MC is again at number one on the Christmas Playlist and LC down to 4

Sorry wrong thread it belongs to the streaming

MW week website has not been updated all week, their last update was last Friday, my guess there won't be one tonight, since we didn't get an update on sales for the Monday update from OCC.

Is the BBC only doing a radio show for the yearly chart? Are they not announcing the results of this week's chart?

I would imagine they will do a top 10 rundown.

And we'll have to wait until Monday 29th December to see the full top 100.

Not a big loss if its all Christmas anyway 🤣

From the OCC website.

Official Trending Chart: EsDeeKid, Skye Newman, Kylie Minogue and more

Gwen Stefani bags the UK's Official biggest Trending song with Shake The Snow Globe this week.

Gwen's new Amazon Music Original, lifted from Amazon Prime Video film Oh. What. Fun., is also on course to break into the Official Singles Chart Top 10 for the first time this week (10). Should it hold on, it'd become Gwen's first UK Top 10 single in 18 years, since 2007 Akon team-up The Sweet Escape.

He's still puttin' work in! After breaking the internet with its Timothée Chalamet remix, EsDeeKid takes 4 Raws to Number 2 on this week's Official Trending Chart. Following months of speculation that the balaclava-bedecked rapper could be Chalamet, the pair put the chatter to bed last weekend as EsDee appeared alongside Timothée's rap alter ego Timmy Tim.

This week's highest new Trending entry comes courtesy of rising South London star Skye Newman, her latest cut Lonely Girl in at Number 6.

A flurry of festive faves inevitably make the Trending Top 10, too: Laufey's Santa Baby (3) and Christmas Magic (7), Fall Out Boy's It Feels Like Christmas (4), Ed Sheeran's Under The Tree (5), Ravyn Lenae's O Holy Night (9) and Jordan Davis's O Come All Ye Faithful (10).

Elsewhere, after claiming 2025's Official Christmas Number 1 single with XMAS, Kylie Minogue's Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) track Hot In December is a brand-new Trending entry at Number 11.

No chart on Friday due to EOY chart which I agree with in my opinion as this weeks chart will be full of Christmas songs and this weeks top 100 will update as usual at 5:45pm on their website
