Sunday at 20:313 days So I actually originally sent Maia Maia, with CLIPZ, but I neglected to search clarify that it was recently on the Radio 1 playlist resulting in what I think is my first ever song contest veto I have been really loving Nia Archives' material over the last few years so I'm thankful that I was allowed to enter a lesser known song by her, even if it isn't my favourite (I did think about Crowded Roomz, but that did show up in quite a few personal charts)Thanks for the minor points so far and Doctor Blind for the bigger ones, the top 2 as of the last scoreboard and both fantastic and a wonderful closer from Dan as well.
Sunday at 20:313 days That was a very cool entry, Jade! And one that I think could've gone up in my affections even more with a few more listens tbh (I'll probably keep listening to it from time to time ❤️). Thanks for the points too!

For CB33 has sent BAYLI, a Brooklyn-based queer artist, blending the smoothness of indie R&B with the sharp, colder edges of hyper-pop, to craft a different sound which remains true to and deeply rooted within the rich traditions of Black music. “Lucky Number One” from recent EP NO RE-ENTRY is a queer club anthem, a track built for the dance floor, fusing indie R&B vocals with pulsing electronic beats, and celebrates the sheer joy of queer nightlife. Sadly however, it has not been faring too well so far. :(On 20/12/2025 at 19:51, Cody Piastri said:12 POINTS | RYL0 - Party Monster10 POINTS | horsegiirL - YOLO08 POINTS | Francis Mercier & Magic System - Premier Gaou07 POINTS | TS7 & Katie May - Only One06 POINTS | Catching Cairo - High Speed Chase05 POINTS | Arca - Prada/Rakata04 POINTS | FAUZIA - The Way03 POINTS | IAMDDB - Where Did The Love Go?02 POINTS | Nia Archives - Silence is Loud01 POINTS | Rody Joh & JayBless - M2Ki2So the leaderboard as we head into intermission (and is now frozen) looks like ~SCOREBOARD AFTER 15 of 22 VOTERS:PENTRYUSERNAMEPTS1Derrick May “Kaotic Harmony”652Miči & Sun-El Musician “Respond”lewistgreen643dazegxd and gum.mp3 “Mania”614Visage “Moon Over Moscow”Scene615horsegiirL “YOLO”556Shannon “Give Me Tonight”547TS7 & Katie May “Only One”jimwatts518RYL0 “Party Monster”489FAUZIA “The Way”Doctor Blind4310TYGAPAW “M32 Riddim”Dan4111Francis Mercier & Magic System “Premier Gaou”3912Rody Joh & JayBless “M2Ki2”3813Arun Verone “Empty Soul”Dobbo3514Arca “Prada/Rakata”Nine And ¾3315Heavy-K feat. Sunday at 20:393 days I fear Cody just calls all of his entries flops so that on the rare occasion when he actually flops we're all desensitised to it xVery strong top 5 at the moment but Nazar being so low is not on (and neither is Arca being in the lower half)
Sunday at 20:403 days Author I'll be back at approx 2115, to reveal the 1-7 pointers for Addy!, Bré, Julian, Pav, uhsting, TheSnake (!) and CowTzy.Yes - we have actual votes from TheSnake. This is not a drill!
Sunday at 20:453 days Thanks Cody for points - nothing here deserves to be that far adrift at the bottom
Sunday at 20:463 days Jeez, 'Anticipate' is really low right now, but sharing the number of points with me who gave it 12 haha. I kinda had some entry envy tbh, it was a very interesting and slightly ~bizarre~ entry. I was definitely intrigued and mesmerized, that's why I still get excited about music and discovering music.
Sunday at 20:513 days I want ART, you know? That was art. My brain turns slightly into mush when I listen to it but the track just felt like a fresh experience. 😅 (Not that I've never heard any music like that before but y'know)
Sunday at 20:523 days I don’t think any of the remaining voters liked my entry so yeah absolute BOMB incoming xsurprised y’all hated this track more than the one I sent last contest where I genuinely thought I was assaulting your ears
Sunday at 20:573 days Thank you so much: Jim for the 12! ❤️, AllStar and Mango for the 10s, Nine and Jade for the 8s, and King Rollo, Chez and Lewis for your points!Really didn’t expect to be doing so well as I’m usually more miss than hit with Club Bizarre! Top 4 and only four points from the top OMG this will be tense!!

Sadly I don't think the jungalist massive on BuzzJack is a big enough contigent to bring it home!OK - 7 voters left, just 4 pts separate the Top 4 and I can reveal that the gap remains close. Top 10 run of 6 consecutive editions. For CB33, they selected Berlin-based DJ, producer, and singer HorsegiirL. Emerging in 2022, she has quickly risen alongside a wave of innovative artists from the Berlin scene, producing ebullient, high-energy tracks that blend happy hardcore, hardstyle, Eurodance, and club music. The track submitted, “YOLO,” epitomizes this approach, offering an anthemic celebration of freedom and living for the moment over a vibrant, dancefloor-driven beat.23 hours ago, Addy! said:12 Francis Mercier & Magic System “Premier Gaou”10 IAMDDB “Where Did The Love Go?”08 TS7 & Katie May “Only One”07 RYL0 “Party Monster”06 Shannon “Give Me Tonight”05 Nia Archives “Silence is Loud”04 Miči & Sun-El Musician “Respond”03 Rody Joh & JayBless “M2Ki2”02 Pet Shop Boys “Bet She’s Not Your Girlfriend”01 TYGAPAW “M32 Riddim”Meooow!!!I will edit in 8, 10 and 12s once the final scoreboard is revealed. :)

Proving that he has all the Doctor Blind cheat codes, he opted for two artists at the forefront of the Jungle revival and a song that I already knew and loved by dazegxd and gum.mp3. Brooklyn‑based dazegxd and Baltimore-based gum.mp3 collaborated on a number of projects that explore jungle and electronic music in fresh, forward‑thinking ways, reflecting their shared roots in underground club culture. I can’t remember how I originally discovered “Mania” but its title is very apt with its frenetic and urgent energy, it forms the centrepeice of their Girls Love Jungle project.23 hours ago, Michael Bubré said:12 Nazar - Anticipate10 TYGAPAW - M32 Riddim8 Arca - Prada / Rakata7 Miči and Sun-EL Musician - Respond6 Francis Mercier and Magic System - Premier Gaou5 Visage - Moon Over Moscow4 RYL0 - Party Monster3 horsegiirL - YOLO2 Derrick May - Kaotic Harmony1 FAUZIA - The WayCommiserations to IAMDDB and Rody Joh - this was a solid batch of songs, particularly strong bookends with my top 2 being the first and last songs in the running order! Hyperdub coming through with a mysterious banger in that Nazar song *.*When I looked up my artist(s) on BuzzJack I discovered that 'Mania' had already appeared in Doctor B's chart a while back which made me chuckle after the OP specifically called out people stealing something from there. Was entirely coincidental I promise xx (I listened to a few other songs from both artists to see if I could find another one that wouldn't violate that but 'Mania' was pretty comfortably the best song by either artist out of what I listened to so just stuck with it).
Sunday at 21:263 days Oh my, I unfortunately snubbed Brer's last couple of anon contest entries but I gave this one... 1 point order slowly restoring
