Beatles third best selling studio album after Sgt. Pepper (18xP) and Abbey Road (8xP).
But these 2 albums had sales from the 1960s included - Revolver sales only from 1994.

Great to see The Bravery - An Honest Mistake getting classified, plus three brilliant songs from musicals: two tracks from SIX and She Used To Be Mine - the standout track from Waitress

I had no idea Hold My Hand was even close to Platinum.

The GP adores a Gaga ballad.

"Would've been you" is the best thing Sombr has put out. I heard it on the Radio One chill show when he was doing his live there. Its a beautiful thing. I guess I'm not the only one to discover it in the past few months.

This was certified silver in 1995 on the basis of record company sales to the retailers and so the two certification milestones are not directly comparable.

Similarly the Reel 2 Reel single was certified silver under the old rules in 1994 and auto-certified as gold in the original tranche on July 22nd 2013, when it might have been well above 400,000 sales.

A bit late to the party but echoing the love for 'An Honest Mistake' being certified!

Definitely one of my favourite songs of 2005
