I spotted this on the Wikipedia release schedule the other day and it looks like it was sort of announced months ago although it was unclear if it was an album or an EP. Intrigued to see how it does, not sure if he's past his commercial peak at this point or not.

I'm attempting again to keep up with album releases this year after mostly struggling the last couple of years - there was absolutely nothing I cared to listen to this week so Dry Cleaning and Zach Bryan look to be the first couple of albums I'll check out this year

A lot of Zach’s stuff seems to be slow burners.

He releases quite a lot of music, usually with not much announcement time, so nothing ever goes viral on TikTok etc pre-release.

Im not sure if there will be enough interest in the Djo cassette to make much of a sales difference but hopefully im wrong, a cd single or vinyl might have wider appeal.

Seems to be underperforming so should’ve chose A Couple Minutes instead which is doing much better

I think the problem is MIN and SE(TFIL) have been such juggernaut anything after was gonna "underperform" but the album itself is clearly still being streamed a lot collectively as a whole as its still challenging for number 1 nearly 4 months after release, has it even left the top 5 so is anything really the right 5th single

It's ahead of the album version of A Couple Minutes on Spotify and Apple, the latter just has a second version (A Colors Show version).
