Yesterday at 12:031 day Sexistential is the most ecstatic record that Robyn has ever made, the sound of one of contemporary music’s most influential artists coming home. After the club music meditations of 2018’s Honey, the album features nine, deeply playful pop songs that tie back to her era-defining Body Talk trilogy, designed to feel “like a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing”, she says. “That’s how I felt, like I’d had all these experiences searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself.”Co-produced mainly with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund, Sexistential is emphatic and punchy, defiant about both emotional and biological pleasure, need and softness. The album’s title started life as an in-joke before she realised it said everything she wanted to say. “Exploring my sensual life is the same feeling as when I make a good song,” she explains. “It’s such a beautiful kind of sensitive vibration that takes so much work to keep afloat. I feel like the purpose of my life is to stay horny - it doesn’t even have to be about sex, but it’s feeling sensual and attracted to things that I enjoy, and not letting anything take over that.”To celebrate the news, Robyn released two new tracks from the album. Building on the success of acclaimed first single “Dopamine”, new singles “Talk To Me” and “Sexistential” further reveal one of the decade’s most celebrated comebacks. “Talk To Me” – produced by Klas Åhlund and Oscar Holter, and featuring Max Martin as a co-writer (their first collaboration since 2010’s “Time Machine”) – is pure, unadulterated fun, like Robyn trying to write a Prince or Gap Band song but underpinned with uber-contemporary production. “I wrote it during the pandemic when there was no way to be physical,” Robyn says. “I like talkers, that turns me on.”The album news comes among a run of recent public appearances - including a performance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen and two sold-out shows at Brooklyn Paramount - that have created huge anticipation and speculation around new Robyn music. Whether performing with David Byrne to celebrate Saturday Night Live's fiftieth anniversary, making show-stopping live appearances with the likes of Charli xcx and Gracie Abrams, collaborating with Yung Lean and Charli for a version of Brat’s “360,” or soundtracking Acne Studio's 2025 Paris show, Robyn continues to shape and influence popular culture in truly unique ways.1. Yesterday at 12:121 day Author The album should be available to pre-order in the following days because it started to appear (then, deleted) in indie stores, like the one below.https://www.limitedadditionrecords.com/collections/coming-soon/products/sexistential
Yesterday at 14:501 day Omg yes!Shame it's only 9 tracks, anything less than 10 doesn't really feel like an album to me. But, I have complete faith she will bring the quality!
Yesterday at 15:551 day Exciting news!! I’m not too sad about the length because Robyn is very high quality but excited for a new project from her! Edited yesterday at 17:091 day by Jordanlee1402
Yesterday at 16:331 day Yyyyeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!!!!!!! Give me those two new tracks now, I can’t wait!Fine with 9 tracks as long as that comes with quality control. Really intrigued by the write up quoted as it sounds like the album will be fun again after the last one was much more laid back

Yesterday at 17:141 day BRING ON THE ALBUM!I just bought the 20th anniversary edition of Robyn on vinyl, I need this too so let me pre-order
Yesterday at 18:031 day Clear vinyl edition pre-ordered <3And I love both the new tracks!!! Clearly we're looking at Talk To Me as the main push and it definitely feels like it would work alongside her biggest singles - but I also do love how Sexistential is revisiting tracks like Konichiwa Bitches or Fembot etcI will however be retracting my statement about 9 tracks being enough if everything is around 3 mins or under.
23 hours ago23 hr Hmmmm I wonder if Blow My Mind is new or whether it's a re-record of her single from Don't Stop The Music... I can see it working on the style of the tracks we've heard so far so I'm going to assume it's the same track in some form

22 hours ago22 hr LOL only Robyn could make us wait this long and then deliver just 8 new tracks (although if she's going to do that then Blow My Mind is a great choice, it's by far my favourite from her early material)
20 hours ago20 hr Ordered the vinyl!I was offered a Spotify Fans edition with alternate black and white artwork but opted for the original artwork instead (and the white vinyl).
20 hours ago20 hr I never went beyond just liking Dopamine, it didn't prorgress to love (yet anyway) but Talk To Me is super instant, a great pop moment and so nice to see her working with Max Martin again, I guess Time Machine was the last time before this that they worked together? Body Talk was my favourite 'era' she ever did, the dripfeed of amazing pop really kept me going in 2010 <3The Robyn album was brilliant too but a little patchy in parts for me to hold it in quite as high a regard. Enjoying Sexistential too, it's a throwback to previous stuff she has done but definitely not in a reductive way. Looking forward to the album!
20 hours ago20 hr Really enjoyed "Dopamine" but "Talk To Me"!!!! So good. Really looking forward to the album if it's all as good as what's been released so far *_*
