The average age of the ACR songs is probably less than that of the SCR songs now. 😅

That's some turnaround from Wednesday! Clearly the missing streaming data helped. Nice to have two unpredictable #1 outcomes and two new #1s to start 2026.

Tbf 3k isn't that huge a turn around when Spotify is always a day behind was probably more like 1k ahead 🤣

'End Of Beginning' joins a small pool of #1s which entered the chart at #100 ('Someone You Loved' is the only other I can immediately recall), and not many have first gone #1 beyond its 28th week.

Now this is now gonna go up there as among my favourite ever UK number ones alongside Don't Speak by No Doubt, Bring Me to Life by Evanescence, Mad World by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules and Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, to name but a few.

'Welcome to the Black Parade' is one of my favourites too 🖤 here's hoping MCR can get their first #1 album whenever a new project is ready.

One of the best charts to listen to ever. It proves that a host of new/re entries make for such an exciting chart. Brings me back to the good old days. They have been so stale in recent years.

Almost none of the old songs got played right? BBC really love Tiffany to play her 2 weeks in a row though.
