The fact new releases are so stagnant too is adding to things... or just nothing really taking off that isn't already 6 months old (Dracula)

tho dracula is attributed to it’s relatively new remix with JENNIE.

Bella going to ACR only feels super early because everything else is dodging like there's no tomorrow it's refreshing to have a big hit go to ACR quickly for a change...!

It's annoying that some songs are swerving so much, but there's not much new stuff coming up to replace it anyway...

I'm guessing that it's the warm weather we had earlier this week that caused many songs to go back to ACR after being DCL-1 and DCL-2.

I swear this happens every year around the bank holidays - either in the same week where streams are usually lower therefore the market declines and it's hard to beat it, or the week after where streams usually increase again and everything goes up.

RIP to 'MAYBE.' though, it had a good run with 33 weeks Top 100, just one behind the record 34 of 'Believer' without going Top 40!

my guess is it declined less than the market decline but I could be wrong

Too easy to avoid ACR. Too easy to go back onto SCR. Needs fixing pronto, or even better abolishing.

It needs a revamp, so that it's easier to go to ACR and harder to go back onto SCR.

This could be interesting – and we won’t know for several weeks how much of this is accurate. For example, Landslide had a significant decline on Spotify (despite a few good days) so could well have declined more than market, despite climbing more than 4 places.

The biggest thing being released soon seems to be Olivia Rodrigo but given vampire didnt debut with spectacular number they could still be doing more than her

Songs like Summer of 69 would probably have had a run like Dracula if released in this era! Just physicals stop being made and so don’t maybe represent their true popularity!

Was 'Summer of 69' that big at the time, or was it one of those that grew in fame + popularity in the years afterwards? Or was it a case of the album it's from already shifting bucketloads?
