I was a bit nervous for Pestolia so good to see them through! I knew I was going to love theirs after about 5 seconds of those visuals and production *.*

Real shame for Ennea, that was a real grower and thought it might have a decent chance at qualifying. Bronzil sadly was one of many I couldn't find room for.

It's not all bad news for French-language pop as we do have POPHub secure a finalist spot. We have a rather unfortunate pairing however as it is the first of two of my personal favourites that leave us tonight from the mighty FSR Rontvia who have a rare NQ tonight.

I had a hunch I would be out after the very muted listenthrough reaction and it also wasn't in the right semi (I needed the likes of Kath, blacksquare, Leww etc). I see it didn't get the pop voters at all, which I thought it would do as it had a PinkPantheress vibe. I just called it wrong this month but no regrets as it was No.1 in my chart so I still love <3

And still glad to have got the year of Qs last year but at least there's no pressure to continue that this year now.

It is two of two for KAS:ST who qualify tonight for Kluminican Republic. Whether they can repeat the success of 'Hell On Earth' remains to be seen. Meanwhile Lookylion are another nation tonight who picked up a few big fans but not much else and just miss out on the finale.
