I thought Julian would have voted for Peter Gabriel. I forgot to allow for the possibility that it was his entry

Limousine was produced by MIchael Cretu (Enigma) btw.

Oh nice. I'm in a bad, resentful mood so hopefully this results show brings me up, rather than down further into my resentful hole.

I honestly don’t expect to do well in this but intrigued to see how it plays out nonetheless as I adore the track. wub

I reckon one of the bigger names could win this.

Entry: Earth & Fire – Weekend

@WoW73 is the first person to reveal, and they are revealed to be behind the song that many of us found out to be the inspiration behind a later covered dance track by Scooter!

Let's turn our attention to the votes from @Herbs next.

Entry: Juniper – Weatherman

@Herbs opted to go for a relatively unknown artist whose music is not available on Spotify. Will it have paid off or will it leave him wanting to blame the weatherman...

Next up is @jimwatts

Great entry, figured it would be Herbs' when I realised the lead singer wasn't relatively unknown at all but is in fact Damien Rice.

A nice entry choice from AH Gold, otherwise my favourites remaining unrevealed so far.

Entry: Ministry – Revenge

@jimwatts presented us with a rather interesting entry from 80s band Ministry. The catchy track is currently holding up well in the scoreboard, but how will it fare by the end...

Commiserations: Space Art – Onyx

Saint Etienne and Portishead were my top 2 in the third edition of this contest (female lead singers) - those were my top songs by them - while these are among their best too, but there was room for something standout to grab the top spot. The Talking Heads song was a grower post-listenthrough and it was difficult to cut one of these 11 songs which make up my top half.

Moving ahead to take a lead, we now have Saint Etienne, one of the contenders tipped to do well.

There are still songs on no points though, will that change next when we hear from @Severin

...but I did have a feeling that Jim was behind Ministry so that's another goodun revealed there magic glad to see that doing fairly well so far.

Points from everyone so far - thanks all! A 5-point swap with WoW, always fun to hear where a later hit song's sample comes from, and it's a catchy song in its own right.
