Yeah if she sticks to what she said months ago every song is getting a remix feature for a deluxe release at some point

Iirc, Spotify are actually quite annoying when it comes to adding “single remixes” of already released songs to “New Music Friday”. I could be wrong but I can’t remember the last time they supported a post album release single on that playlist tbh.

I’m really disappointed there’s no video I think launching this with a killer video would have given it wayyyy more hype and perfectly launch the remix album..

I think I saw in the other thread that Radio 1 tend to do their playlist meetings/decisions on Tuesdays! So if they didn’t know this was a thing until Wednesday afternoon it would have missed the cut off point. I’m actually fairly confident it’ll get playlisted!

I love the whole of West End Girl as an album, but there are only handful of songs I would choose to listen to in their own right... 'Beg For Me' is not one of them!

That said, I'm enjoying this version, Jade really adds to it! It's not an instant JADE fave for me, but I think that's down to my familiarity with the original making this seem a little clunky - I think I'll warm too it!

(I still think she would have been perfect on 'Nonmonogamummy', but I'll take what I can get!)

I think I said that... And that's from my memory (I'm pretty sure playlists have been leaked as early as Tuesday in the past, and almost as sure as that of Radio 1 doing an access all areas thing a few years back that explained how playlisting works!)

EDIT: I've just searched #r1playlist #aaa on twitter... And they did a live playlist thing on 06/02/2013, which was a Wednesday. Obviously that was a long time ago, so they might have changed how they do things since then... But it is still possible that they weren't sent it in time for consideration!
