I’m guessing a fair few of the albums that just have one song left to get certified are waiting on the last track on the album. It appears to be the case for Adele with 25 and Lana Del Rey and Born To Die.

Was certified gold in May 2020 so must be pretty close. Other albums with all but 1 track certified: Born To Die - Lana Del Rey ("This Is What Makes Us Girls" not certified) Beerbongs & Bentleys

  • Crazy that every song from that Catfish & The Bottlemen album has been certified, they don't feel quite big enough for that. They stick out like a sore thumb amongst the other artists in the list!

"I'll Be Waiting" went Silver this week. This is where gasman got the idea to do this thread.

Other albums with all but 1 track certified:

Born To Die - Lana Del Rey ("This Is What Makes Us Girls" not certified)

Beerbongs & Bentleys - Post Malone ("Jonestown" not certified)

Thank U, Next - Ariana Grande ("Make Up" not certified)

Psychodrama - Dave ("Drama" not certified)

make up will surely get a certif soon

I would have thought Teenage Dream would be on here considering half of them were singles anyway

The 6 non-singles have not been certified on Teenage Dream - despite low streams for half its tracklist it surprisingly still does well enough to chart consistently!

TLOAS up to 8/12 , is she on course for that fastest or would that still be divide

Assuming the rest of the tracks all get certified next week, it will have taken 19 weeks for all songs on TLOAS to be certified. The BPI website doesn't actually show all the silver certifications for Divide but I would guess it took less than that for all the tracks to be certified.

I know that 7 of the 9 songs from Michael Jackson's Thriller were released as singles worldwide, and all of those are certified in the UK. The only two that aren't are The Lady in My Life and Baby Be Mine. It's all the more impressive considering how many copies the album sold.

Surprisingly not! Out of the 12 tracks only 8 of them are certified. "By Myself", "Forgotten", "Cure For The Itch" and "Pushing Me Away" are not certified

Taylor Swift’s album “The Life Of A Showgirl” now as 8 out of 12 tracks certified. The uncertified ones are “CANCELLED!”, “Eldest Daughter”, “Honey”, and “Ruin The Friendship”.

That’s really poor from BPI given the album was released in 2017

Wasn’t “Honey” miles behind the others? I can imagine that not getting there for a while.

The two Michael albums from the 80s were the first 2 albums from the 20th century I checked - "Speed Demon", "Just Good Friends" and "Another Part Of Me" from Bad are not certified. Michael always said he wanted every song on his album to be a hit so I wonder how he would feel if he was still alive!

(What’s the Story) Morning Glory must be up there too.

Yep, just the two untitled/Swamp Song tracks that aren't certified!

Nice so technically every song since they’re interludes!

Surprised that ‘Another Part Of Me’ isn’t silver - though it wasn’t one of his greatest tracks. I don’t even remember ’Just Good Friends’.

'Just Good Friends' was the only song from Bad to not be released as a single. It's a duet with Stevie Wonder.

I'm surprised ‘Another Part Of Me’ isn't silver, too, as it was a single that charted at #15. I imagine it can't be too far away.

Was ‘Speed Demon’ released anywhere?
