Decided to give this a go, not everything landed but there's definitely promise - the Undérage skit quickly reassured me that there would be a bit of an edge to the humour, the Princess Diana impression was hilarious (Jack Shep seems like an obvious breakout star) and the 'Weekend Update' segment had some cracking lines, that was my favourite part. 45 Seconds with Fouracres was fun chaos to end on too.

Wet Leg were up my street as musical guests and so are Wolf Alice from those announced so far.

Honestly, better than I was expecting, will try and stick with it. Glad we have this new platform for upcoming talent and musical performances, even if Sky limits its TV audience a bit.

Okay this was brilliant. George and Jack were absolutely hilarious, looking forward to more from them. Great start, hoping the momentum will last.

It's all relative though - Sky won't be expecting the same ratings as if it were on one of the main channels. Most of the viewership will be from NOW catch-up anyway though.

I think they're just hoping that a clip will go viral or something. I doubt they're expecting the viewership of the actual programme to be up to much.

50/50 for me. Really liked some, but a couple dragged (really disliked the movie interview sketch). Will definitely watch next week though

The movie interview sketch was possibly the weakest though I did chuckle at the whole "why did it suck" bit.

The host was very meh. Musical guest, Wet Leg just ain't for me so didn't care for that or the next two musical guests they have coming up. (Why they have three Rock bands back to back? Like variety where?) Liked 2 sketches but that was it. Barely laughed. Little disappointed.

Tina's comedy isn't for everyone I guess! Wet Leg are great though but appreciate they've gone all out indie for their first few shows when perhaps somelike RAYE or Harry Styles would've been great leads to throw into the mix.

The Paddington Bear Experience and Undérage were great. The Shakespeare one had me cackling though, especially Jack at the end (plus echoing your thoughts on him as Diana, even he couldn't keep it together haha).

Really strong first ep loved the Paddington, Skincare commerical ad sketch and the changing rooms sketch the most!

Wet Lwg was fab too, Tina Fey was strong guest host to start with

Not watched it all yet but echo the praise for the Underage skit, Tina Fey and Princess Diana! Really strong showings for episode 1!

I didn't laugh once during that movie interview bit - by far the weakest part of the show (from what I've seen so far of course lol).

American humour is over the top and shite. How did they think this would land here?!

And yet some of the most popular / remembered sitcoms around the world are American

I thought there was barely any American feeling, maybe apart from Tina Fey but she fully embraced our humour!

Isn't it just the framework that's American, not the humour?

Decided to give this a go and honestly was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it! The only bad part for me was Wet Leg kink not really a fan. Can't say I'm too excited about Wolf Alice or Kasabian coming up either, but hey ho.

Pretty much all of the sketches apart from the movie one made me laugh one way or another and the cast all seem really good, but the standout was definitely Jack Shep! Diana, cuntified Shakespeare, please give him loads to do for the rest of the series girls! I love that they weren't afraid to go dark too with Undérage and then a lot of the Weekend Update too, that's missing far too much from watered-down, new British comedy at the moment I feel.

Did you even watch because the humour was very British? gaga

British Themed Pub for #1

The way this is going to be stuck in my head forever!

I really didn't expect to be invested in this, but here we go, it has been a pleasant surprise.

Glad it's been extended to 8 episodes now and given its own YouTube channel away from Sky's general one.

Wolf Alice were great - their song choices were 'White Horses' and 'Leaning Against The Wall' for those curious - the latter pretty unexpected! But my favourite The Clearing album track, so yay. Bring on more musical guest announcements as I think Kasabian are still the only other one we know about at the moment.

I found this week's opening skit a lot funnier than last week's. The Hostage and Jools Holland ones were also highlights and I continue to be obsessed with the Weekend Update double act. Again, not everything landed, but I wouldn't expect it to.

I also wasn't sure what to expect of Jamie Dornan as a host but he really got into it, fair play!

Need '45 seconds with Fouracres' to be brought back immediately x

Better then last week but not by a whole lot.

Opening skit started off ok then lost it at the end. British Themed Pub in Spain was so on point! Really liked The Hostage skit, funniest they've been.

Wasn't quite as good as last week for me, but the opening, Jools Holland and the British Pub in Spain skits were all great. Jack continues to impress me too, his physical comedy is everything (especially in the Beanz Bros one lol)

Yay Jorja Smith, first artist I actually like the music of and a whole different genre to the previous ones.

I need to get around to catching this properly, however, I have seen a fair amount of the first episode sketches etc.. I enjoyed what I saw tbh. Agreed that Jack (the guy who played Princess Di?) is the standout star atm.

Looking forward to this Saturday and seeing Riz Ahmed wub

Doing surprisingly solid numbers through YouTube too! WAY more than I expected, anyway. I think SKY should be very happy with this tbh.

I'd like musical guests who would be more to my tastes though. Not a single one of the first 4 episodes are really for me lol But I'm sure we'll get there!
