I'm not sure I've ever seen someone claim the UK does well for political reasons, or why those same reasons would now no longer apply.

Tbh, no one is allowed to doom anymore until at least we've heard the song.

It’s the same take I see from casual viewers every year. The UK only did well because every single person across every voting country in Eurovision listened to the news every day and knew the UK was “the biggest contributor to Ukraine”. They were fully braced with their phones when voting opened, not to vote for their favourite performances, but to thank Boris Johnson for all his hard work. The EBU supposedly nudged the UK into 2nd to host for them. Now the magic favour has worn off and the consecutive 0 points are proof that every single person suddenly hates the UK again. Funny how they never respond when asked why the UK has done terribly for 20+ years before that. Truly expert analysis.

I really don't see the problem with "nobodies", it's always the song, not the act, and you hearing of people does not mean they don't have talent. That you never heard of him doesn't mean he's a nobod

  • This year also has the additional notion that anyone with a fan base would surely just be making themselves a lamb to the slaughter, given many are boycotting this year due to Israel’s participation.

Who exactly had heard of Kalush, Nemo, JJ before Eurovision? Case closed.

Song is called 'Eins Zwei Drei' (that's 'one two three', if you're German!) and is out on Friday!

Interesting that our entry has a German title, at least!

Well after many many years of Germany sending songs with English titles it's about time we returned the favour!

Ginally!! I hope it's in another language. BBTory keeps sending beige English songs, with zero variety.

Germany should send then send Jeans Team - Ich singe keine Melodien - ich singe 1 2 3 4. ;) Would score much better than Sarah boring Engels. My odds were on wavvyboi and he would have scored a decent place.

Looking forward to hear 1 2 3 on friday.

Lithuania having Spanish in the title, now this. Crossover divas.

Eins Zwei Drei. Tanzen!
