So it took Dua Lipa to get Danny L Harle back on the R1 playlist for the first time since 'Broken Flowers' in 2016 not that I'm complaining as I love the song!

Good to see Sonny Fodera finally gone, and the A-list has 16 songs again so maybe last week wasn't a mistake and that will be its new length going forward.

I've heard of Bella Kay but not Freya Skye, will have to check those tracks out.

Freya Skye is a Disney actress - she's signed to their Hollywood Records label.

Nice to see Josh Baker and Robyn moved up! I hope Leigh-Anne is moved up next week.

Yeah - she seems to live in America now though.

She was in her debut era, but they haven't playlisted her since 2019 so don't hold your breath

Thanks, I thought so. I also thought Weekends was playlisted in 3023, though I may have imagined that.

Just heard ‘Most Wanted’ on Radio 1. Can they not even broadcast “bum bum” anymore?!

Unless the BBC Sounds app is wrong, ‘To Love Somebody’ wasn’t played at all on Saturday, and has been played twice today - albeit there’s the 00s/10s/20s show, but it wasn’t played on the afternoon show.

Not sure if that’s just an oddity or there’s been a slight change in policy with the increase to 16 A-list songs. Though a quick glance does suggest the other A-list songs are still being played every three hours or so.
