Up next we have Karen Wheeler dropping out (and somehow above her son in the show, main character Mike) alongside Eddie Munson, both of them receiving the same number of votes in Round 6. Karen was pretty much clueless about everything going on with her children and their friends, while at the same time keeping up the appearance of a strict, but loving, mother. After a somewhat questionable side-plot of her finding Billy sexually attractive and there being a ~thing going on there, it wasn't until the show's final season we saw Karen take centre-stage having her badass moments when worlds collided and everything was happening before her eyes; saving her daughter Holly while also (conveniently) saving the group in the hospital. Eddie, leader of the Hellfire Club, was a main character in season 4 and became the best friend of Dustin. A lot happened, with Eddie being the target of Jason who believed he was responsible for the death of Chrissy, as well as sacrificing himself in a swarm of Demobats so that the group could launch their attack on the Creel house. In the final season we see the effect that Eddie's death - and in life his friendship with him - had on Dustin, while other characters (Steve) questioned his heroics.

Jonathan for me. I don’t think his character really went anywhere after the first couple of seasons

Holly's time to go now, she was great in season 5 but the others have more of a time advantage to really flesh out their characters.

Will, he was too much of a whiney biatch for me, plus his coming out scene would of been more impactful if it happened sooner and they dragged it out until the last possible moment

Gone for Jonathan this time, wouldn’t be sad to see Holly join him though given who we’re down to now despite how brilliant she was in season 5!

Erica ruined Season 3 for me. She was funny in small doses in all the other seasons but everything to do with her arc and role in the group in S3 was ridiculous and she was nothing more than a sassy black girl stereotype.

Thank God they dialled her back for S4.
