Unfortunately this is not my song eventhough the voice is good, but the whole thing is too souly and less BOPy for me.

  • That’s a different track completely, I imagine that’s gonna have a full push soon but this is a different vibe, more mellow and ballady as husband and click clack are both big pop numbers so wanted so

  • Very pleased with this choice. Stands out as a classic ballad, but with her relatable lyrical style. My favourite new song I heard was “Beware The South London Lover Boy”, but that was very much in th

  • Lyrically it is very much the RAYE equivalent of Adele’s “Someone Like You” so a surprise BRITS performance would be great. The BRITS lineup seems pretty stacked already, but would be great if she wa

Absolutely insane, it was so perfect live, and I’m so glad I could go straight to stream it after. So so beautiful, she truly is on top of the world rn

It’s not my cup of tea but she sounds stunning ofc!

If she does this at the BRITs, she should release a live version asap.

A live abbey road version is on the b side of the new 7” singles!! They sold out quite quick but already have been restocked 😭

This is really nice. I hope it debuts high and sticks around for a bit. I do wish it was "I Know You're Hurting" being released instead though - saw it live last year and aboslute chills and I think it's a bit more melodic to work as a single (can't wait for the studio version!).

Very pleased with the studio version of this song. I agree that it has a timeless and classic sound to it, I hope she can deliver a great performance of this tomorrow - even though it's a stacked show of live performances I really think this could be the moment of the night at the BRITs.

Has Alex released physicals too? Really hope Raye gets highest debut

Unsure if they’re in the UK or not but he has like 10 vinyl variants on his us store ☠️ He’s also doing far better on Apple Music currently so I’d imagine he’ll easily get the top debut tbh.

I’m in the camp of a this something I could listen to on repeat but I don’t quite know how big it’s going to be… a radio edit could butcher this yet live versions of this will be fantastic. I’m here for her second album so much now ❣️

Uk store has 8 vinyls + 1 cd single… though I don’t know how big of a fan base he has to buy all of them? Let me check the sales to see how his album sold

His album wasn’t that big of a physical seller, most sales came from streams … 20,843 Alex Warren - You'll Be Alright, Kid [4,182 CDs, 2,177 vinyl, 168 cassettes, 756 downloads, 13,560 streaming] so hopefully he’s not gonna get too many vinyls, I’d like to have nightingale lane as the highest debut of the week

Its not too bad on fistt listen , feels like a song that would sound much better live than the studio version

also whats the sudden trend of everyone releasing 5 minute long songs 🤣🤣

Definitely getting strong aretha YMMFLANW vibes and even the odd Kate bush vibe on more repetitive listens

Debuts at #29 on the UK Spotify Chart with 181,499 streams.

Just under 1.2M counter which is still amazing for her, it’s now her third highest debut!

This just gets better and better. Sounded so good on full blast driving home from work, gave me full body goosebumps. That crescendo at the end is just impeccable
