Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

This week's results:

  • Chase & Status x Pozer - Through The Pain 4

  • Chris Lorenzo x Kah-Lo - In This Bih' 3

  • John Summit x Rohaan - SATA 1

  • Kenya Grace - Naked 3

  • KSHMR x Jason Ross x Brieanna Grace - Ultra Love 0

  • Kungs x Boys Noize - Get Away 2

  • Martin Garrix - Catharina 3

  • Topic x Shimza x A7S - Missing You 0

Chase & Status return to victory with 'Through The Pain', their first release since 2024's chart topping 'Backbone'.

It's Houseboy for me. Shinjuku is quite good too. Chase & Status song is abysmal - the worst I ever heard from them. Unlistenable. The only good thing is that it is shorter than 2 minutes.

My personal rankings for Week 12;

  1. Illenium x David Guetta x Dustin Lynch – Die Living

  2. Franky Ricardo – Shinjuku

  3. Armin van Buuren x Alle Farben x Rosy – Lost In Time

  4. Aluna x Will Sass x Timbaland – Houseboy

  5. Chris Stussy x Tom Did It – Wide Awake

  6. CamelPhat x Rafael Cerato x Mike Trix – Miami Bass

  7. Dean Turnley – Actin' Tough

  8. Chase & Status feat. Blade Brown – Doin It More

1 Dean Turnley

2 CamelPhat

3 Chase & Status

4 Franky Rizardo

5 Aluna

6 Chris Stussy

7 Armin Van Buuren

8 ILLENIUM

Y'all are being deeply unserious making the worst (by a massive margin) song win. Can we not condone Dustin Lynch x

Anyway... not heard of Dean Turnley before but this song was a bit of a lowkey banger. The CamelPhat and C&S songs aren't going among their all time classics but both solid. The Stussy song was somewhat going over my head on first listen, I assume it must have been viral before release as otherwise seems like a very random song to debut in the top 100?

I don't think anyone has, the song seemingly just went viral pre-release so ended up top of Spotify's dance new music Friday. it's already got far more streams than anything else he's ever released.
