Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

This week's results:

  • Fcukers - Lonely 5

  • John Summit x The Chainsmokers x Ilsey - All the Time 2

  • Josh Baker x Eliza Rose - Down to the Bone 3

  • Marshmello x Portugal. The Man - Phoenix 1

  • Meduza x Henry Camamile - Don't Wanna Go Home 0

  • Nia Archives - Danger 2

  • Prospa x Cloonee - Free Your Mind 4

  • Wilkinson x Katy Alex - Ultraviolet 2

Congrats to US duo Fcukers who released their debut album Ö last week, from it the track 'Lonely' is crowned their first Dance Track of the Week. Their previous 'If you wanna party...' was unfortunate enough to be released on the same week as Bebe Rexha's 'New Religion' so finished 2nd place... 11 votes behind. 'L.U.C.K.Y' got similarly unlucky to go up against Danny L Harle's 'Raft in the Sea'.

Nothing really too exciting here but Gorgon City gets my vote.

Edit: Switched to Dimension, which is currently growing for me.

Dimension would have won this for me most other weeks but it has to be Bebe!

Voted for Hannah Laing.

Only a slight improvement this week overall, however I noticed all the artists begin with A-H - in fact if Dimension had been replaced by an artist beginning with "E" (I see Eli Brown has a song out, it's pretty good too), there'd have been one for each letter!

Anyma Beautiful is just weak compared to what festival progressive house/trance used to be!

Quite like Chris Stussy's Strings Of Life style intro at the start but not really the rest of the song.

Voted for Dimension and bbyclose for the Matrix and Futurebound style nostalgia.

What happened to E for Ely Oaks? Last year it looked like he was going to be the next big thing in dance!
