Released in October 2016 as the 2nd single from Gaga's 4th studio album Joanne & lyrically delves on "heartbreak and hope" during a relationship, as well as Gaga's religious faith during the chorus, ultimately making it a song with a positive message. Originally 'A-Yo' was gonna be the album's 2nd single, but was cancelled due to the positive response to this track which became a slow burning hit following some high profile performance slots such as her Victoria Secret's fashion show & Superbowl Halftime Performance.

Both 'Do What U Want' & 'Perfect Illusion' each gained 3 votes each. 'Stupid Love' got 2. 'LoveGame', 'Judas', 'Marry The Night', 'Always Remember Us This Way', 'Bloody Mary' & 'Die With A Smile' each gained a single vote each.

I’ll be voting for a while I think but stupid love for me, both of those singles were a let down for me in that era (loved Alice though - SO MUCH).

Loved 'Alice' too and in my opinion it SHOULD have been the lead single, but I actually don't mind 'Stupid Love', its a cute fun little BOP, even if it is on the safe side. Both Chromatica and Mayhem should have had more singles.

Oh 100% should have been the first single I agree. Tbh I don’t think Gaga has a bad single at all, just the chromatica ones I didn’t enjoy so much.
