14 hours ago14 hr eee girlies I am ready Madonna was my first popstar. She didn't sound like anyone else and was genuinely experimental to my peanut brain. I remember losing it as a kid to Confessions, which led me to discover Ray of Light and being floored. I have held her to this unfair standard ever since, because those years were so formative to my taste in pop music, and honestly, Hard Candy to Madame X gave us some of the worst music I've ever heard I know the singles haven't landed for everyone, and maybe I have just gotten more lenient out of desperation, but this era has just been joyous and I am v excited for tomorrow x
