Go for a toilet break! That's what I did when 'Madame X' was announced, think I was gone 20 minutes! 😂

Strong reviews so far!!!

Tonight is the night (this is a midnight release in your own country isn’t it and it’s not midnight USA time like some artists…)

CONFESSIONS II - 2 LP Premium Sold Out

CONFESSIONS II - Pride Edition Sold Out

CONFESSIONS II - Cassette Sold Out

I know reviews are personal opinion and the albums are very different but how do these reviews compare with her 2010 albums? I seem to remember Madame X actually getting strong press reviews (and it is my favourite of her last decade albums) but just curious to know.

Metacritic
Confessions on a Dancefloor 80
Hard Candy 65
MDNA 64
Rebel Heart 68
Madame X 70

It's been a long time since she's had an album as well reviewed as this across the board. Madame X had some positive coverage but ultimately pretty mixed, and nothing close to acclaim

I'm going to a party my friend is hosting in Soho tomorrow evening for this. He'll be playing the album in full, the lead single from every album in order and a few of his favourite deep cuts! I'm rather excited 😍

"CONFESSIONS II" debuts at #1 on New Zealand iTunes Album Charts!!

eee girlies I am ready

Madonna was my first popstar. She didn't sound like anyone else and was genuinely experimental to my peanut brain. I remember losing it as a kid to Confessions, which led me to discover Ray of Light and being floored. I have held her to this unfair standard ever since, because those years were so formative to my taste in pop music, and honestly, Hard Candy to Madame X gave us some of the worst music I've ever heard kink

I know the singles haven't landed for everyone, and maybe I have just gotten more lenient out of desperation, but this era has just been joyous and I am v excited for tomorrow x

I have a feeling that the pre-album singles will be the worst songs on the album (IFSF aside) which would be so typical from her since Hard Candy days.

Her best album in 20 years, I've read. Which largely means her best album since COAD.

I am so ready... And my CD has been dispatched so it's coming...

Actually excited to hear a Madonna album for the first time in a long time!

Review Update - not bad for a Madonna album as media in general is a lot less sympathetic to in comparison to the likes of Beyoncé, gaga or any of the newbies.
