Amazing! She’s on 56,260 so should go silver next week. Absolutely incredible after the long slog Madame X took to get there

Such a good hold this week. I feel this album will linger around the 20 - 30 mark for quite a while & get the occasional boost when she does some promo. Bizzare definitely needs a push in some capacity!

I'm good with that, 2nd week top 10 for a Madonna album in 2026!

Same! Sales are quite high this week as well, would have been #7 the past couple of weeks.

#32 on streaming is a great result too. About 3k from streaming given Eminem’s Curtain Call is on place above.

Madonna Confessions 2 sold 7,758 in the UK this week, so will go silver next week.

Apparently these were the UK week 2 sales for her recent albums:

MDNA - 15,500 (#7)

Rebel Heart - 8,700 (#14)

Madame X - 3,900 (#16)

I feel with the first two it is difficult to compare fully as we have such a different market now.

CONFESSIONS II" expect #11 on The Billboard 200 with 36,759 equivalent units sales (included 25,119 in pure slaes).

Madame X sold 4,642 in its second week and was #14, maybe 3.9k was pure sales only?

Gives a bit of context as to why Bring Your Love wasn’t released immediately after Coachella:

That really explains a lot! I have wondered what they were thinking at some points this era, but ultimately seeing how the album has performed I think it makes sense. There probably isn't a smash hit single on the album, but overall it's a very strong body of work so it makes sense to push the album over any particular song. The spontaneity has probably connected with people more than a more traditional rollout would have, even though I do love a traditional rollout lol.

What we predicting for week 3? Can I stay Top 20?

Think it may just fall short. Im thinking around 22/23 next week. That will still be a huge achievement for a Madonna album in 2026. I just hope she's got some stuff lined up for the remainder of the year to keep the album afloat as much as possible.

Thanks! Serves me right for doing a quick search and not researching properly!

Maybe the World Cup halftime show will have some impact? Agreed that more promotion would be cool if they want to keep it afloat.

From what I've heard, she's getting a 2 min slot, if that. Unfortunately, I don't think she's going to get much of an impact from the half time show 😔

Madonna number 10 in the UK midweeks.
