I think a remix edition has long been rumoured and teased. It makes absolute sense.

I wonder if we'll get a remix album first

Then a super deluxe with the other 8 songs that have been mentioned by Madonna.

Would do the trick to get it gold certified in the UK.

CONFESSIONS II was #195 on the UK Albums Charts last week (around 1,200 sales units).

Confessions II has fallen out of the UK Top 200 Albums Chart from #195, probably had around 1,000 sales units last week. The total is around 75,000 units so 25,000 left to reach Gold.

Although it kinda feels like this album is gone too soon from the UK charts, 6 weeks Top 100 and 9 weeks Top 200 is more than I ever expected for it.

I genuinely had visions poor reviews, a cheap sequel and two weeks Top 100.

Instead we got one of her best albums in decades, rave reviews, 3 Top 40 singles and a reasonable run.

We won basically.

Oh I’m just hoping we get a few random boosts to speed up the progression to Gold, I can’t handle another Madame X 4 year trek

Madame X hasn't gone gold it's silver at around 75,000 copies in the UK.

Seeing as casual sales are not such a thing anymore the only way to keep an album afloat is streaming numbers which can be helped with top 40 radio play and viral marketing. Neither of which generally favour older artists.

I think older audiences who would have purchased an album months after release are not converting to casual streams months after release. Or even if they are it might be a one-time listen which converts to zilch in terms of streaming equivalent sales.

It’s sad because people might look at the figures and compare negatively to 15/20 years ago but the sort of numbers she’s doing are the 2026 equivalent of a decent sized hit.

I think they meant they don't want Confessions II to take nearly 3 years to go Gold, which is how long it took Madame X to go Silver.

I think if nothing else happens like a Remix album released with it similar to Kylie's Tension album or a Super Deluxe Edition it will end the year with 80,000- 85,000 units which I think is good result.

The sales are the same right now, but it's been only 10 weeks since it's release compared to more than 7 years for Madame X. Confessions II will go Gold eventually in less time it took Madame X to go Silver I think.
