Would Mr. Brightside not be an omission for this volume or was that around the time of Now 61, I can't recall exactly!

Either way it's a very strong collection of songs you have on there and I can't help raising my eyebrows at so many of the hits overlooked!

I did purchase another compilation from that time period which does make use of a lot of those tracks nicely.

I included Mr. Brightside on my Now 59 album. It should have really been on Now 58 but I chose 59 as Somebody Told Me appeared on the real Now 60.

I used that Red Hot Hits album as a reference for my Now 60, seems to have been the last one in the hits series?

Not quite the last...

I count these two other releases;

And then finally (I believe) from 2006...

Yay! So happy to see you carry on to the 60s. I remember being disappointed that “Get Right” wasn’t on NOW 60, so it’s nice to see it on your volume.

I also owned “Red Hot Hits”. Some great choices on there. I forgot how much of a bop “Object Of My Desire” is.

I don’t know why, but it’s making me think Theme Park.

They're justified and they're ancient.

Now 60

This is objectively better than the Now 60 we actually got. It was always one of the weakest in the series for me.

Reminds me of so much I've forgotten about or don't remember at all. I imagine @T Boy could recall to mind some of these lesser remembered Anastacia songs. I'm looking forward to digging into the playlists when they're posted!

That Now 20 volume is incredible!

Isn't it.

It helps that there were 7 months between Now 19 and Now 20

Ooooh! I was right with the artwork.

So many great songs and some forgotten gems as well.

Starting off with Lee Ryan is wild, but I love it. Sings, I Bruise Easily, Next Best Superstar, and In the Morning are classics on disc 1. And I totally forgot about Ben Adam’s solo track, that’s gonna be fun re-listening to.

Disc 2 is probably my favourite though. So many mp3 jams! Girl, 1, 2 Step, One Word, Lose Control, Owner Of A Lonely Heart, Poison, Why, Heavy on My Heart, and He Wasn’t all remind me of the music channels we had on Sky.

1 fave from each Disc:

Disc 1: Next Best Superstar (justice for Mel C’s independent solo releases)

Disc 2: One Word (great glitchy moody pop moment. Great sample. Great video concept. Just all around great)

The only thing missing for me is “Long Hot Summer” by Girls Aloud. But maybe that was released after NOW 61’s date. Either way it’s another banger of an album!

This is an instant win for including “One In A Million”. Such a banger of a tune!!
