Wednesday at 18:051 day 'Everything Changes' is not really a Take That favourite of mine, even with the Robbie spotlighting, but it's leagues better than 'Sure' - so I'm glad it's higher!'Doop' is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me too. I do love a charleston so it checks out I guess xI'm a fan of Prince but I would not consider 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World' a discography highlight at all, so an underwhelming sole #1. At least my favourite single of his, 'When Doves Cry', did get to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Wednesday at 18:531 day Yes I am really glad Prince got a UK number one, what a travesty it would have been if he hadn’t. One of my all time favourite artists and although this is not one of my favourite songs of his, it’s still a great Prince ballad. I agree with Jade, When Doves Cry is his best, awesome song in every way!

Wednesday at 19:331 day The intro of Most Beautiful Girl In The World reminds me of Whitesnake - Is This Love! The song is a bit over sweet lyrically and Prince has better songs. Edited Wednesday at 19:341 day by TheSnake
12 hours ago12 hr Most Beautiful Girl is a last hurrah as he was busy pissing off his fans (like me) getting all petulant about his brand name and label, and the rest of his career was not anywhere near as essential as the first 14 years. It's quite pleasant, but it in no way sits with the album Purple Rain, and highlights after that like Sign O The Times, Alphabet Street, Kiss, I Wish U Heaven, or even songs he gave away like Manic Monday, I Feel For You, Nothing Compares 2 U. To name a but a few!
