  • It was incredibly close between Star Guitar and Setting Sun for me - it's such a stellar list and that's without many of my favourites of theirs that didn't make the top 10 (hello in particular to Swo

  • 1) Hey Boy Hey Girl 2) Galvanize 3) Go 4) Setting Sun 5) Star Guitar 6) Block Rockin' Beats 7) Let Forever Be 8) It Began in Afrika First time hearing 'Star Guitar' - I like a lot! Could easily take

I'm genuinely baffled that 'Block Rockin' Beats' is performing so poorly here. I was expecting it to be an easy top 3. I thought it was much better remembered than that but clearly not!

Did The Chemical Bros release a greatest hits? Loads of similar bands from this era had huge GH releases in the physical era like Prodigy, Basemebt Jaxx etc!

So many great songs, Hey Boy Hey Girl seems like the most remembered from the list in the 2020s.

My list

Star Guitar

Setting Sun

It Began in Afrika

Block Rockin Beats

Galvanise

Go

Hey Boy He Girl

Let Forever Be

Out of Control would top the overall list though!

Just checked and ‘Brotherhood’ was released in 2008!

It's hard to be the favourite among such a strong bunch of songs, but that doesn't mean it isn't popular! The bigger surprise to me is that 'Go' has so few votes, but then I counted it in the top half for 10 people in this thread (including myself) who put something else top - for me it was really close behind 'Hey Boy Hey Girl' and it's certainly the one I've been more keen to listen to in the last 10 years.

I'd say it's on about level with Galvanize, both of which are far more remembered than everything else (excluding 'Go' for now as that's the currently viral one)

I forgot that It Began in Africa existed.

I don't like that sample in Galvanize. I found that a very weak single, I'm afraid.

Yes, Out Of Control is amazing! They used it as the soundbed for Sky Sports Premier League Years reviews ❤️

01 Star Guitar
02 Hey Boy Hey Girl
03 Setting Sun
04 Block Rockin' Beats
05 Go
06 Let Forever Be
07 Galvanize
08 It Began In Afrika

The amount of classics here and yet it's still missing some incredible songs. I also had no idea 'Go' was randomly going viral
