Saturday at 08:324 days I think a rule adjustment is due. As much as I love seeing older hits getting recognition, the charts are starting to feel quite stale.A good fix would be to only allow songs older than a year to re-enter the chart if they're experiencing a genuine resurgence. That way, the chart would still reflect what's popular right now (such as Kate Bush previously, and now The Chemical Brothers), while removing the long-term floaters lingering at the lower end of the chart simply accumulating weeks.It would keep the chart current and give fresh releases a better chance to gain traction.
