Good to hear lots of boos at the totally unnecessary drinks breaks. Also good that the UK broadcasters are commenting on it.

I won't be holding my breath. Stand by for UEFA using it for the next Euros, including a miserable Thursday night in Glasgow with rain and temperatures of 15 degrees.

Assume this stat is meant to be 15th June 1966 or was it the Euros in 68 that that happened?

Sorry about that, I was ten years out with that, thanks for pointing that out, much appreciated.

After Al Amin's red card for Qatar, 2026 has overtaken the amount of red cards there were at Qatar 2022.

Or,even the Premier League in an torrential downpour on an Monday evening at St James Park in December.

When it comes to the 8 best 3rd place teams progressing to the Round of 32 and they are ordering the teams on 3 points do the teams the win 1 game and lose 2 get a higher placing than a team that has 3 draws?

Or is there another way they order them?

I hope that made sense. :)

No I think it's then done on goal difference, then goals scored then eventually fair play etc. but could be wrong.

honestly, was actually relieved with Qatar and Saudi Arabia choking so hard in the World Cup x

Just hoping that they're not rigging our chance that much for 2030 as our roster is slowly improving again post-Kluivert.
