This could be a massive win for Canada.

@Mack. do you think this’ll be enough to see Canada progress passed the group stage?

Yes I do believe that will probably be enough to progress beyond the group stage.

I spoke too soon, the substitute Promise lived up to his name within a minute or so great 👍

  • What a time to get your first international goal for Lukic as Bosnia and Herzegovina lead 1-0 to silence the Canadian crowd.

Absolutely, great to see him get his chance to shine on the biggest stage! Also - completely unrelated, but it's just struck me that this match features a team with the same colours as Leeds United p

Oh wow I'm not used to seeing the other end of the pitch in this second half. The Canadian goalie has had barely anything to do.

Two red cards really ruined any chance of it being a game.

The second red and (what appears to be a) leg break seemed so innocuous when watching it live.

This is how I expected the group to go bit surprised it took until the second game for it to start to happen.

All set up for a 0-0 draw in the final game so that Canada keep their path on home soil.

Crazy that Canada couldn't beat Bosnia and Switzerland couldn't beat Qatar, but switch the teams and it has resulted in massive wins.

The cameras didnt seem to want to show much of the row at the end just panned away.

Only 2 Meetings between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Qatar:

10/08/2010- Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-1 Qatar (Friendly)

23/01/2000- Qatar 2-0 Bosnia-Herzegovina (Friendly)

Only Meeting between Switzerland and Canada:

15/05/2002- Switzerland 1-3 Canada (Friendly)

Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Qatar seems rather evenly matched.

I think Canada will beat Switzerland later - home advantage!

Canada and Switzerland are more than likely guaranteed Top 2 (not mathematically confirmed but it'd require a lot of coincidences and goals to avoid it) so all to play for for both teams on who will win! A win for either Bosnia or Qatar would more than likely be enough to give them 'best third place' status.
