Shakira and Burna Boy performed it at the halftime show yesterday. I hope that it gives it a boost.

#4 in the Sunday first look. Might be Shakira's first top 10 hit since "She Wolf" in 2009!

  • This has grown on me massively after hearing it (again and again) at the WC. C’mon Shakira get that long overdue top 10 hit! (the Rihanna collab really should’ve done better)

It might help give it a boost but i think generally speaking the half time show as been riducled everywhere so it may do nothing.

in the words of Wayne Rooney "it was crap"

#2 in the Wednesday update. Will be Shakira's first top 2 AND 3 hit since Beautiful Liar.

Its so wild this is Shakira's biggest hit in the UK since Beautiful Liar when everywhere else in the world Bizzarap was such a hit

"Dai Dai" climbs 3 places to a new peak of #2 in the UK. It becomes Shakira's highest-charting song since "Beautiful Liar", which went to #1 in 2007.

Hoping it holds on. It'll be a well deserved number 1 & something fresh at the top of the charts which we are in dire need of.

The fact it's challenging a full week after the World Cup is over shows people are genuinely enjoying it outside of football season which is very surprising! Didn't happen with Waka Waka iirc

'Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)' didn't leave the top 100 in its original run until October and it re-entered a few times in 2011 and 2012.

Also it was different - Waka Waka wasn't even that prominant when it was out weirdly and wasn't promoted as much as Dai Dai has been (similiarly to La La La in 2014).
