Not really agreeing with the condemnation of Paraguay. It was the ref that was poor.

It the ref called the fouls and gave cards when he would supposed to, then nobody would be commenting on them.

The referee he set out how the game was gonna go and that was the precence for the whole of the match.

The ref was poor, but the Paraguyan players were poor too. I think this is just how they play and is classic South American tactics, but they were going in to tackles deliverately trying to injure players. Ultimately the ref lost control of the game and allowed Paraguay to turn in to ultimate shithouses.

Yeah the tactics from Paraguay were what people call the "dark arts". Mbappe did well to keep his cool during the match and not rise to the Paraguay players bait. The referee was laughably bad also. France Vs Morocco should be a good game and hopefully Morocco will cause an upset there.

Yeh I don’t get the issue with Paraguay, I loved their effort to disrupt. What do people want them to do lie down and get beat 3-0 like Sweden. There was only one dangerous tackle in the game and that was the one before the 2nd glad hydration break the rest was just shithousery which is allowed and the ref needs to sort that.

I think what wound me up was Joe Hart saying ‘Mbappe is allowed to be arrogant as he’s so good’ 😬 No Joe you can be brilliant and humble.
