Biography

Temper City is an Israeli, LA-based band consisting of Eytan Peled (איתן פלד), Aviv Barenholtz (אביב ברנהולץ), and Hen Kordova (חן קורדובה). Temper City first started behind the scenes as writers and producers, working with artists such as Fuerza Regida, Zeds Dead, Dimitri Vegas, and Flyana Boss behind the scenes of production and writing. After working in the music industry for five years, producing and writing music for other artists, the band decided to release their own music, drawing inspiration from bands they grew up with, such as Arctic Monkeys, Twenty One Pilots, The Neighbourhood, Radiohead, and Foster the People. This led to the release of their debut single, “Self Aware,” on February 15th, 2026, which became a massive hit on social media, with over 600K engaging videos on TikTok by the time it reached 30 million streams on Spotify by April 2026. - Genius

The epitome of all that is big, bold, and exhilarating about arena rock of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” feels both iconic and indestructible. A Top 10 single from the band’s 1981 juggernaut Escape, it has yet to lose its power despite its countless TV and film appearances, never mind all the attempts by karaoke singers. That’s a testament to the craftsmanship that was always at the core of Journey’s formula of pop hooks, heart-tugging sentiments, and go-for-broke bravado. Journey had even more flash when they formed in 1973 as a jazz-rock showcase for ex-Santana guitarist Neal Schon and other musicians from Bay Area bands. By the time they added vocalist Steve Perry in 1977, Journey had honed their sound into something more immediate while retaining their displays of prowess. Between “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’” in 1977 and their commercial peak with Escape and 1983’s Frontiers, Journey seemed unbeatable, thanks to Perry’s precise vocals and Schon’s guitar heroics. They remained a major live draw until health issues prompted Perry’s departure and a nine-year band hiatus in 1998. Then in 2007, with “Don’t Stop Believin’” resurging thanks to the finale of The Sopranos, the band found a fresh frontman in Arnel Pineda, a Filipino singer Schon discovered on YouTube. “I’m the biggest emo drama queen,” Olivia Rodrigo (born in 2003 in Murrieta, CA) told Apple Music. But the key to letting it out is keeping it together, and balancing that tension has been key to the onetime High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star, who quickly established herself as one of pop’s next-generation leaders and has since proved herself adept at combining the twist-filled, sonically dense music of ’90s alt-rock with unabashed emotionalism. Rodrigo was just 17 when her first post-Disney hit, the weepy “drivers license,” took over pop at the beginning of 2021, but she had been getting ready for years, taking lessons in piano, voice, and acting as a child. Happy that 'honeybee' is a top 40 hit now! Olivia can be hit-or-miss with ballads for me but this is beautiful.

A sort of chart appearance for Conan Gray on backing vocals too

I actually think Honeybee is not a bad tune... if anything, it'd be a perfect first love song.

'Honeybee' might be my favourite Livvy Rod ballad to date.

I really hope 'Expectations' gets a moment though and doesn't become the 'Brutal' of this album.

I dont mind honeybee id of preferred expectations to get a moment first though

'Rein Me In' might be on course for a 17th week at #1, but has it ever been at "-1" like 'honeybee' has

This isn't a top album highlight for me but still quite nice.

I find Olivia much more enjoyable when she dials back the drama, this is actually a pretty solid track from her.

Biography

With a raspy wail and a flair for the dramatic, Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins in 1951 in Skewen, Wales) cut a torrid path through rock in the ’70s and ’80s. She put out her first full-length, The World Starts Tonight, in 1977, and soon after had an operation on her vocal cords. Her second studio album, Natural Force, which came out months later, featured “It’s a Heartache,” a country-tinged cut showcasing her newly husky voice that hit the Top 5 in the UK and throughout Europe. After a few more releases, Tyler switched labels and began working with Jim Steinman, whose theatrical productions proved to be a winning match for Tyler on 1983’s Faster Than the Speed of Night, particularly on the mini-epic “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” Tyler would go on to have fruitful creative relationships with other studio wizards, including Desmond Child and Giorgio Moroder, and in 2013 she represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest.
