They gave totals in last weeks report:

5,562,955 Wonderwall

2,543,702 Three Lions

Is that just the 96 version of Three Lions? I seem to recall, they added all versions to for their chart millionaires list

RMI back onto zero weeks of decline

  • That’s a very impressive second week for Madonna considering nearly every legacy act goes 1-out these days.

Yeah, the 98 version has 625,916 but I think that could just be pure sales and the streams are combined.

There should be a new rule regarding SCR and ACR and that is if a song spends a year on SCR, then it should be shunted to ACR until it gets a 25% increase

So 2.15m total for Three Lions?

Why does Alan Jones constantly ignore Last Christmas when he talks about the songs with the most weeks in the top 10,

Last Christmas had 10 top 10 weeks from its original chart run in 1984 / 85 and then 41 weeks from the streaming era to make 51 weeks in total.

More than the 39 top 10 weeks for Rein Me In.

He's probably thrown off by the OCC having separate listings for the 1980s double A-side and the digital era release.

The digital era release has 41 top 10 weeks as I mentioned so still more than Rein Me In.

I’d rather stream Wonderwall and Mr Brightside over Rein Me In and OCC need to stop hating on Mr Brightside

they don't "hate" the song, it just has never got the necessary 25% streaming boost to get a reset outside of New Year's week when the automatic reset process is suspended...

It’s frustrating. I have so much respect for him - but he just makes so many glaring mistakes and what he says is often ‘taken as gospel.’
