could do 3000 downloads + streaming should be strongish + the original song should be streaming okish so could get a top 75 in week 1 in my opinion with buzz etc.

then see how it goes.

We can't delay downloads for over a month...... hope they put it at 59p straight away. Warner will know this a big chance for Madge

Also they could do a BTS and release a load of random downloads later to boost as did Kylie with the Xmas downloads

I'd much rather go all guns blazing in whatever week the peak week will be! As that's what I care about the most, I'd rather not waste them.

Thrilled about the CD singles and that they're only £1.99 each! I've pre-ordered all three.

We know that downloads and first weeks treating can do wonders for a song. I can see it easily charting in its first week and gaining some traction rather than waiting. Also it gives the song a boost on things like Big top 40, and first look charts with downloads. But each to their own lol

Hunsnet have done a post to get them to #1 so they’ll be pushing the downloads from Friday 😩

I suppose there's two trains of thought, one being to just go for it immediately while it's fresh in everyone's minds and is hopefully creating buzz on social media, and the other being to wait when the CDs dispatch at some point in September, but risk that streaming has softened and that overall excitement about the duet has relatively died down by that stage, to the point of it being difficult to get the fanbases motivated to download.

Tbh it probably is a good idea to just go for it when there's maximum attention and see what happens. Can always do a "Round 2" of downloading in CD release week!

Maybe wait and see how the song performs on iTunes over Friday/Saturday/Sunday. See if it ends up being in the First Look chart on Sunday and/or in the midweeks on Monday. Then decide whether it's worth contributing to the downloads, or holding off for CD week.

Would certainly be more ideal if the CDs were timed alongside the download/streaming, but if they're suggesting September without a clear release date then I'd be surprised if they could be rushed forward for dispatch next week?

I’d be shocked if she’s not credited - they know it will engage both fanbases to give them a hit plus she’s credited on the CD singles which makes me think it’ll be that way too for if/when it charts.
