Official Charts Report

Madonna and Kylie Minogue are heading straight for the Top 10 with their long-awaited collaboration Love Sensation.

Set to be this week’s highest new entry, at Number 8 on the First Look, it would mark Madonna’s 65th Top 10 single and Kylie’s 37th. The track features on Madonna’s latest chart-topping album CONFESSIONS II, and saw its live debut last week in Amsterdam, where Kylie made a surprise appearance during Madonna’s Club Confessions set.

Meanwhile, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean could extend their all-time chart record with Rein Me In, as it leads the way to a potential 21st week at Number 1.

Jumping up the First Look Top 10 is Movin’ To The Sun by HUGEL, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté - rising four places to Number 3 midweek.

Sabrina Carpenter’s 2024 Number 1 smash Espresso could be back in the Top 40 this week, for the first time since January 2025, thanks to a new 2-year anniversary vinyl edition - it’s currently at Number 4 after 48 hours. Manchester-based DJ Silva Bumpa could also land in the Top 10 this week with breakthrough track On 2nite, currently up four (9).

More tracks set to rise include Stella Lefty’s Boston (10), SIENNA SPIRO’s Die On This Hill (15) and Tame Impala’s Loser (20).

Just outside the top 20, Alex Warren’s new single RESCUER could make its debut (22), while South Korean boy band Stray Kids could see their highest charting single to date with THIS & THAT (27)

Very interested to see how Electric Callboy do. They’re a lot bigger than when their last album released in 2022.

I think Alex Warren is the only new entry currently showing on Apple but very low down.

It will be interesting to see how many downloads Madonna and Kylie can get - as for streaming, it’s not even on my ‘Release Radar’ playlist, let alone ‘New Music Friday’.

It's a remix so it has the advantage to have the streams of the original as well. However, I think it needs a proper virality to chart before the physical release.

Hoping Kylie and Madonna can get around 4-5k downloads.

Inquisitive streaming will have been OK yesterday but needs playlist support. Video needs to be watched .

If it has a chance of a top 40 they will have some video/remix downloads available midweek I am sure

BMG are usually good at tracking this sort of thing. Not sure about Warner but the latter really should be able to get some playlist support

Could do with some radio play, coverage in the news. The support behind Padam and Xmas etc got it the boosts needed

Also has 3 tracks to stream which could help a little rather than just usually 1 track on release week

I've decided to unfollow the charts for the next 12 months and gonna come back in August 2027 to see if the charts have changed and where Rein Me In is see you in a year

Their last album did 15k and debuted at number two, they would have been number one but about 2k sales were excluded as they didn't read the chart rules. They're much more popular than they were before and I can see them campaigning hard to get number one. Just depends how well Ari does week 2.
