Passenger was alright for Alex Warren standards but this is a step back into unmemorable borefests.

Hopefully this means he's on the wane for real.

Feel like the hype's drained from this Alex Warren campaign with each single release, though I'm sure the album will do just fine upon release.

This song's inoffensive but I'll forget it as soon as it ends.

Just saying the teaser for the chart show played on the breakfast show this morning was more to the tune of 'is this the week Sam Fender's reign will end' rather than 'will Sam Fender get another week'. As soon as I heard that I had a feeling that could be foreshadowing a massive amount of Madonna physicals and a shock #1... (it was similar the week Taylor scammed a second week at #1).

I don't want to jinx it but I think Alex Warren might be over.

That's just a poor man's Ordinary obviously... But Rescuer is more stronger.

'RESCUER' is an Alex Warren song alright

4/4 top 40s for MR Warren, hopefully he pushes something else album week in a fortnight this is definitely the weakest of the 4

I think I'm enjoying this more than Passanger and Fine place to die but nothing has come close to Fever Dream imo.

Why do Olivia Dean songs strike such a chord? Because they come directly from personal experience. “I would never, ever write something that wasn’t true or didn’t happen to me,” she told Apple Music’s Rebecca Judd in 2025. “It’s not interesting to me. It doesn’t do anything for me to make it up, because I’ve got to go out and sing it for maybe the rest of my life.” Born in 1999 in the London Borough of Haringey and raised in Highams Park, Dean dabbled in gospel choir and busking before studying music theatre and songwriting at the prestigious BRIT School. Spanning a series of EPs beginning in 2019, early tracks like “Ok Love You Bye” revealed her evergreen soul and jazz influences while proving just how nimble yet emotional she could be as a singer and songwriter alike. I try and not hate so much on Alex but it can't be helped that he still chooses to make musical equivalents of stale bread. I fear Fever Dream may have been a one-off.
