I think the first two re-issues started off inside the top 10. Hopefully this holds onto top 40! I know there’s been some delayed dispatches with this one.

I still think Sam has a dedicated fan base to an extent but there’s more niche type of acts who are more hardcore on week one.

Katy Perry is another example of this. Big radio hits but radio listeners are extremely fickle and once the radio stops playing the new stuff, they just drown

Either way, jokes aside, I agree with this. It's good to see that they went back to basics with this album after Gloria, but I think people aren't ready for too much extravaganza yet, which is a shame honestly.

I’m not sure how it works for a pricing error? If the dealer price is above the threshold and they decide to discount it surely any sales will count (same as when HMV have a sale?).

Amazon as they always do with competitors have price matched so it’s 99p on there too 🤣

It’s clearly an image problem that Sam is still feeling the consequences from the Gloria era, if I really hope this stays in the top ten, because they just did this

I think it’ll take more than a competition to keep it Top 10.

I’m sure Polydor/Universal will want to do all they can to make sure it stays Top 10 so would expect some discounts or more signed variants possibly.
