The singer-songwriter was born in 1997 and grew up on a farm in Vermont. He spent his youth refining his folk picking on guitar, banjo and mandolin while transforming his voice into the raspy falsetto captured on his debut hit, 2017’s “Hurt Somebody”. Recorded while bouncing between New York, LA and points in between, Kahan’s first two full-lengths, 2019’s Busyhead and 2021’s I Was / I Am, showcase an artist sharpening his pop instincts. When the COVID pandemic hit in 2020, Kahan returned to Vermont and—feeling nostalgic for his New England childhood—stripped his music to its gritty soul, resulting in 2022’s breakout album, Stick Season. Its viral title track later took Kahan all the way to the big time (thanks, in part, to an Olivia Rodrigo cover in 2023) and he went on to reimagine several Stick Season cuts—including a version of “Dial Drunk” featuring rapper Post Malone—that reflect a gift for shaping folk and pop into increasingly novel expressions. Kahan might have been a changed man after Stick Season, but on 2026 follow-up The Great Divide, he got back to doing what he does best: penning small-town stories with searing honesty that root themselves in your head and heart. “Stick Season is like doing shrooms and thinking you understand the entire world,” he told Apple Music. “The Great Divide is like three months later: ‘That was great and that was helpful but there’s a lot more we gotta figure out still.’” - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2023 32 Dial Drunk -3-2023 83 Call Your Mom (Noah Kahan & Lizzy McAlpine) -4-2023 01 Stick Season -1- MILLIONAIRE2023 95 She Calls Me Back (Noah Kahan & Kacey Musgraves) -5-2023 16 Northern Attitude (Noah Kahan & Hozier) -2-2023 60 You're Gonna Go Far -AT-2023 72 Everywhere, Everything (Noah Kahan & Gracie Abrams) -6-2024 05 Homesick (Noah Kahan & Sam Fender) -7-2024 31 Forever -AT-2024 84 Cowboys Cry Too (Kelsea Ballerini & Noah Kahan)2026 10 The Great Divide -1-2026 19 Porch Light -2-2026 12 Doors -3-2026 38 Willing And Able -AT-2026 26 Orbiter -AT-2026 68 End Of August -AT-1 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 3 x Top 10 | 6 x Top 20 | 10 x Top 40 | 16 x Top 100Social Media Noah Kahan

Members Eytan Peled, Chen Kordova, and Aviv Barenholtz had all previously worked as producers and songwriters for various Israeli and international acts before forming Temper City in 2021. With its moody alt-rock tone reminiscent of 2010s bands like Cage the Elephant and the Neighbourhood, "Self Aware" was released in February 2026 as the trio's debut single. Friday at 15:421 day This actually has grown back on me a bit over the last week, although I'm surprised it's stayed so level over the months when I don't hear it anywhere!
Friday at 15:431 day The occ need to get their shit together. Either reset absolutely everything that has a revival or nothing at all. Do not understand how Miguel can be back so soon but not Tove lo. And Natasha and oasis having multiple resets of the same songs… it’s a bit annoying
