2 hours ago2 hr Author And finally tonight...the last solo male artist...safe...and through...to Judges' Houses: Part Two...is...which means, sadly, Gary Numan has been eliminated from the competition.
2 hours ago2 hr I think all 3 of those felt quite clear cut tonight, so not a great deal of tension. Both Sade and Gary were last for me so not a huge loss on a personal level, but both brought something different for sure.
2 hours ago2 hr I keep forgetting, how many artists go into Live usually? Is it 9 + Gamu or 12 + Gamu?
2 hours ago2 hr Author Unfortunately for Gary Numan, Zara Larsson and Sade their time in the competition has come to an end.Thank you all for the music!BUT, they still have the chance to return and claim The Gamu Nhengu Gold Card! For all of the remaining artists:CONFIRM YOUR SONG CHOICE FOR ROUND 7 HERE BY 17:59 TOMORROWTHE RULES:Your song must be in the artist's bottom 10 songs on Spotify, once remixes, alternate/live versions, etc are removed.Since Kworb only accounts for songs with over 100,000 streams, you can enter a song with <100,000 streams. If unsure, refer to Kworb HERE.
2 hours ago2 hr All of those were expected. Zara definitely got unlucky as I think some of her songs could've given her more of a chance and maybe her mentor just didn't expect everyone else to go so big (except Marina who seems immune!), but it was the clear weak link of the six.I have only known Sade through my parents before so it was nice to become a bit more acquainted with them and they had some really nice choices, as well as some massive classics in Smooth Operator and Your Love is King.RIP this year's Old Man </3 (not literally thankfully) though if Bowie could only get part ways through the lives though, Gary wasn't going to do much better, his choices have been really good and was great to hear some of his more modern stuff alongside the classics. Cars or bust for the Golden Gamu! Will be interesting to see if a big artist can be tripped up slightly from the live shows by sending the wrong flop!
2 hours ago2 hr Gotta laugh, just looking at Adele, her bottom song once everything has been removed has 45,770,867 streams 🤣
