Before they paved a lane for a new generation of stars that included Destiny's Child and Ashanti, the Atlanta-bred trio of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas nabbed a spot on L.A. Reid’s LaFace Records. Their sound on early hits like “What About Your Friends” updated new jack swing for the ‘90s rap generation, and their choreographed dance moves were bested only by their colourful matching outfits. TLC’s colossally replayable hits, like “Creep”, “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs,” continue to crop up in movies and on the radio, while their second LP, CrazySexyCool, has been certified 12-times platinum. That album featured production from Sean “Puffy” Combs and Jermaine Dupri, giving the group head-nodding beats over which they could move from rapping to singing with ease. Although the band’s last release as a trio came in 2002, the year Lopes was tragically killed in a car crash, TLC remained one of the best-selling female-led groups through the 2010s. Ultimately, it would be another 15 years before T-Boz and Chilli released new music, with 2017's self-titled return, a nostalgic, rose-tinted audit of the styles that made them so successful the first time around. Live performances found the duo performing their parts accompanied by a recording of Left Eye’s voice, a way to give their fans just a little more TLC. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1992 13 Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg -1-1992 55 Baby-Baby-Baby -2-1992 59 What About Your Friends -3-1995 06 Creep -1-1995 18 Red Light Special -2-1995 04 Waterfalls -3-1995 18 Diggin' On You -4-1999 03 No Scrubs -1- MILLIONAIRE1999 06 Unpretty -2-1999 31 Dear Lie -3-2002 30 Girl Talk -1-0 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 7 x Top 20 | 9 x Top 40 | 11 x Top 100Social Media TLC

No doubt, the robot rockers were a major influence on Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay when they formed Justice in 2003, but so was thunderous stadium rock, sleazy electroclash, sticky funk and abrasive nu-metal, to say the least. After building a following as crafty remixers—most notably with breakout club hit “We Are Your Friends”, a squishy electro reworking of English rock band Simian’s “Never Be Alone”—the pair of songwriters/producers dropped “D.A.N.C.E.”, a slick disco homage to Michael Jackson and the shiny pop centrepiece to the otherwise hard-hitting, distortion-fueled Justice debut. The single and album earned them Grammy nominations and laid the foundation for even grander ambitions with 2011’s prog-inspired Audio, Video, Disco. and 2016’s vintage-hued Woman. The duo brought it all together for 2018’s remix collection Woman Worldwide, a mashed-up reimagining of Justice’s first decade of hits that highlights their tireless flair for theatrics. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart HistoryJustice2006 20 We Are Your Friends (Justice vs. Simian) -NAS-2007 48 D.A.N.C.E. -1-2011 53 Civilization -1-2026 31 Flower In A Hurricane (Justice, Tame Impala, SZA & King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) -OST-0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 4 x Top 100Tame Impala2019 79 Patience -1-2020 59 Breathe Deeper -4-2020 78 Borderline -2-2020 89 Lost In Yesterday -3-2022 56 New Gold (Gorillaz feat. Yet he gets the most satisfaction from taking those creations out on the road, as he told Apple Music in 2025: “Being on tour, there’s no other activity in my life that gives me such a sense of purpose.” Of course, Parker has always contained multitudes. Let’s not forget that he transformed psychedelic rock—and 21st-century pop—in such an impactful way that even Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Kanye couldn’t resist his influence. Parker started Tame Impala in 2007 from his Perth home, experimenting with an arsenal of reverb, phaser, delay and fuzz pedals on his 2010 debut album InnerSpeaker. For 2012’s Lonerism, he loaded up on synths, found inspiration in Todd Rundgren and locked into woozy pop grooves made of both dreams and nightmares. As Parker has looked further inward, his music—and musical circle—has continued to expand outward. By the mid-2020s, he had collaborated with Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson and Lady Gaga. Parker has remained a unique outlet, embracing widescreen funk (2015’s Currents), mid-thirties introspection (2020’s The Slow Rush) and elegiac techno (2025’s “End of Summer”). He’s also proven his pop instincts over and over again, as when he spiked his fatherhood-inspired 2025 album Deadbeat with a breakout earworm in “Dracula”. The song’s later success as a viral remix (featuring BLACKPINK’s JENNIE) and dance trend only confirm that Parker’s work enjoys a long lifespan once he’s done with it—both onstage and off. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2019 79 Patience -1-2020 59 Breathe Deeper -4-2020 78 Borderline -2-2020 89 Lost In Yesterday -3-2022 56 New Gold (Gorillaz feat.
